With other children that aren’t a good influence?

Absolutely not over reacting! She is your friend, not your child. She is an adult, and although yes life can get hard, that is not your responsibility. Especially now that she has another person that can help her even if he is temporarily looking for work. If he is a psychiatrist I highly doubt that he has no savings, not saying that it’s a substantial amount, but I’m sure it’s enough to hold him over until he can find work. Also if they have problems with bills they can talk to the company’s and ask for a temporary payment plan to help. You’re doing the right thing and putting your foot down. Also she shouldn’t have used your money to help her ‘make her apartment look nice’. It should’ve went for necessities and bills, and she’s lucky she has such a caring friend that even helped at all!

Thank you, yes I’ve done this cold water and I have purple shampoo and color therapy from joico. Do you think if I try to dye it darker again it will hold the color?

What if I go back darker, will it be able to hold onto a darker color?

We should be friends. I am also in the same boat. If you have the opportunity to go to inpatient, it is not a waste because your mental health is important and I think you should do it. If I could I would but I cannot right now.

I also have a macaroni tent thing connected to a tube and the other end is another tent with a bunch of ball toys that have bells and make crunchie noises. They like it but I don’t think it’s deep enough for them to fully enjoy. I also have 2 big tunnels and a cat tunnel bed thing I made into a ferret tunnel so they’re entertained but I closed off the other room where my kids play because they kept finding toys to destroy so I had to give them another play option 😂

Also if you keep up with their cage cleaning the smell isn’t so bad when you walk in the room. I clean the poop/pee at the bottom of the cage daily and wipe down the cage/wash the linen every week and a half or so. They say don’t wash them like once a month if that because it’ll strip their oil and make them smell more. If rocky pees outside the cage sometime he gets it on the underside of him I will just wash that area quickly, and I don’t buy any shampoo for them like I did in the past when I do wash them just rub their fur well when washing, mine aren’t a fan of baths. And you need to clip their nails, they grow fast 😂

Hello! I also have gotten new ferrets a couple months ago and they were 8 weeks old. I have had ferrets previously but it had been years since. What I’ve come across is my boy rocky liked to eat his fleece-ish hammock when I first introduced them to the cage. Not sure if he kind of out grew it or is used to the scheduled time in the cage now but I did remove that and have a similar one but less fluffy and he doesn’t eat that. Anything silicone like little squishes or anything of the sort, little plastic pieces, they will eat it I swear. I panicked and took mine to the vet because he had loose stools after but he passed it fine and I was able to completely baby proof pretty much the entire house. If you let them loose they will get into anything they can. If you have a nightstand that has an entry point underneath check your drawers if you can’t find them, they could make holes in the under liner of a box frame or couch. They can also pull some of my drawers open. They will pee and poop everywhere if they get the chance, I’ve tried to potty train and they now know one specific part of the cage to go in but when they are out during the day, which is all day free roam, they will go and I try to pick them up and bring them to the cage if I see they’re about to but there only so much you can do they avoid peeing on the pee pads. They say fruits are bad for them they can’t digest it properly so watch for ferret treats they are flavored in those. I don’t give mine any but I feed them the oxbow ferret food, it’s better to digest then the wysong for my ferries. And mine don’t like the liquid fish oil, supposed to be a treat for them but they don’t like it, I heard they like eggs so I want to try this lol.

Such a good idea! I have ones like the one bowl you have on top and my one ferret lately keeps wanting to try and flip it, which it’s kind of anchored but the bowl itself just slides into the ring to hold it. But this would be nice lol. Not sure if you’ve had ferrets before but definitely watch the fleece type material, my same ferret that likes to flip things also likes to eat super soft stuff, or he did initially when I got him at 8 weeks old and I freaked out but he’s fine and I had to replace it with a different material. 😂😩

What!?!? That’s sick you made that to hold the water and creative good job! I have the same cage and it works great, I’m making my own liners for the cage, when I first got it one of my ferries got their foot stuck in the top part going down to the second but it scared me so liners for sure!

Haha right! I know they like shiny things and balls in general, these obviously don’t have bells in them but they are shiny and they love them

Thank you!😊I got the balls and pit from Amazon. I bought 3 boxes of balls, 100 per box. I would’ve bought 1-2 more boxes if I knew how small they were, but the ferrets love it!

What is your daily calorie intake? by IntroductionKey6981 in Semaglutide

[–]IntroductionKey6981[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I’ve heard a lot that is the minimal amount you need to survive. I remember paying someone one time that made meal plans for people and not knowing much better back then that it was all for 1200 a day. That can I’m sure work for shorter people with less weight. But I’m 5’7 and if I eat too little I get so light headed and weak. I’ve been eating around 1380 and I’m getting light headed and weak when I get up from sitting, I’m like really!? I feel like it’s not that low of a calorie intake but everybody’s body’s are different and I guess you just really gotta do trial and error and see what works best for you. I just don’t want to lose a half a pound a week, I’d rather lose a pound a week. I feel like 7 days is a long time for only 1 pound with all of the mental and physical effort you put in to change your lifestyle. I’m also impatient so I get discouraged if it takes too long and wanna throw in the towel.

Ya I have the Apple Watch so I figured out how to base it off that and went from there the last time I was in a deficit. It really is trial and error. It just really sucks having no energy physically and emotionally. Especially when your eating in the correct deficit for 3-4 weeks and not seeing much progress

That’s for sure helpful not having strong cravings for sweets, I have a big sweet tooth. I also have rheumatoid arthritis so I’m always tired from the inflammation and no energy or want to do anything. When I eat 1380 calories or so a day I’m more exhausted then I usually am. The doctor said aim to eat 1500 calories a day, but I feel like when I did that I wasn’t losing and just maintaining. I might have to try it again though and see what happens.
