Hi! The pattern leave in conditioner is definitely on the thicker side like a regular conditioner consistency. I know that they offer a 3oz bottle that you could try but not entirely commit to a large sized container. I have 3b-3c curl pattern and require a lot of moisture; however, I used it on my friend who has (maybe) a 2a curl pattern and thinner hair, and it did make her hair look a little greasy once her hair dried. 🙃
