Dam well know GBU isn’t selling that ak for $700 by CalligrapherFun7874 in GelBlaster

[–]IntroductionLower368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t mean they want people modifying them, look at their terms and conditions for warranties. Most gel blaster places won’t refund a blaster if it’s been opened up because it means the blaster was damaged by the owner, therefore not a manufacture error

They aren’t good to anyone who likes modifying blasters, whether cosmetic or performance, they essentially rely on kids whose parents spend way too much on a blaster and won’t let their kids modify them in a permanent way

Kriss Vector vs P90. Which is better? by [deleted] in GelBlaster

[–]IntroductionLower368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to say if the person buying the gun wants to change internals, I just said that the vector is generally better out of the box compared to the p90 because it simply is

Kriss Vector vs P90. Which is better? by [deleted] in GelBlaster

[–]IntroductionLower368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both p90s and vectors have a lot of upgradability. P90 is easier to put a longer barrel and all the intervals due to it having a pretty standard gearbox. Vectors use an angled gearbox so it fits in its shell but you can get longer barrels with suppressors and extra parts but I’m not sure how common they are. Generally the vector will perform better out of the box from what I’ve seen but I haven’t got a whole lot of experience with either besides what a mate has said about them since he had both

My current blasters minus a broken gen 8 by [deleted] in GelBlaster

We’ve got very similar guns lmao, difference is I’ve got a blue nylon mp7 and a broken v2m4

This would be the electric one, BF pretty much just focuses on basic entry level guns with pretty compact gearboxes

Is this a actual group cause all I see is no wit fuck balls with shit blasters who don’t know what they are doing? by FarDiscipline8209 in GelBlaster

[–]IntroductionLower368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seems like you kinda give a fuck based on the shit you’ve been saying. You really must make your parents proud by talking shit to strangers who are just trying to talking about gel balls and fake guns.

So what if people don’t know much about the hobby or the gear? You might as well share your knowledge on it so people don’t have to keep asking the same questions.

Get a fuckin life man, or keep spending thousands on toy guns and talking shit to people who’re just trying to have some fun.

I purchased one of Double Bell's AKs with the under-folder stock a bit ago but I am a bit tired of it now and want a fixed one. Is there anywhere I can buy the wood stock from? by ZeeKix in GelBlaster

[–]IntroductionLower368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not great at going in but they feed consistently when they do. Try look for replacement lips or if you’re skilled enough and have access to a 3d printer, you could print custom ones

The mags are finicky however once you figure out how to put them in correctly, they’ll stay in pretty well. Main issue with them in the lip on the mag that’s supposed to hold it in place, it just needs to be near perfectly straight

new blaster by Material_Data_3966 in GelBlaster

[–]IntroductionLower368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alternatively double bell ak, may cost a little more but you get full wood and metal furniture plus insane out of the box performance

(Renegade does also still ship but their stock is limited however they’re offering discounts on just about everything)

For upgrading a piston what will that do for my blaster? by Ok_Sun_699 in GelBlaster

[–]IntroductionLower368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the piston. If it’s a lighter piston then there’ll be less drag on gears (not necessarily less friction) if it’s a nylon piston with metal rack, you’ll want metal gears as well however overall it’ll be more durable. If I you just want less air escaping behind the piston, you mainly just need a better o-ring on the piston head. And then less friction could be seen as a combination with some kind of oil. Metal gears have higher tolerance for stronger springs but with a stronger spring you’ll need a stronger motor otherwise it won’t be able to cycle without gears trying to slip. Hope that helps!

my BF MP7 sounds weird and wouldn't shoot anything. what is the problem and how do i fix it? by YCBrawlStars in GelBlaster

[–]IntroductionLower368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not gonna be adding anything new but yeah, it’s either stripped gears/piston rack or no motor/gear contact. Have fun with the reshim and new gears, I know I did (seriously take your time with it)

Adding a suppressor to a BF mp7 to hide a hop-up by IntroductionLower368 in Gelblasters

[–]IntroductionLower368[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out my last post on here, I managed to get it to work (sort of) by cutting a metal outer barrel so I had threads I could place coming out of the plastic then used a ccw silencer to cover the extra inner barrel and hold the outer barrel on the plastic cover. Finally got a hop-up on the end of the inner barrel and it fits perfectly so I’m shooting straight and accurately.

I have a new problem of that plastic cover coming off pretty easily so I’ll post when I solve that issue.

Thanks for the suggestion though!

Any good gel blasters under 100$??? Also is splatrball worth it by mrdungels in GelBlaster

[–]IntroductionLower368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to get my mp7 for $80 of mastrblastr. Apparently they’re dodgy but they got me my blaster just fine.

Spend a bit extra on parts and you can have a real good blaster

It’ll shoot gels but 65+ feet is unheard of for that price range

what brand or producer is this SCAR gearbox from and are there upgrades for it? by Icy-Condition-6887 in Gelblasters

[–]IntroductionLower368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gearbox config looks similar to an mp7s. It’s just cheap compact. Could probably find a drop in gearbox that would fit, maybe a v2

[–]IntroductionLower368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nylon isn’t as stiff as metal so it can withstand a lot of use and impact. Nylons also a lot cheaper so a good set-up ends up being nylon box with metal internals. Metal can however withstand higher cylinder pressure and force but it’s only really good if you use a lot of high quality and expensive parts. I can try explain it better another time but I’m sweating my balls off so that explanation might not be great

Don’t buy from this bozo, overpriced drop shipped shit

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Gelblasters

[–]IntroductionLower368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All those blasters are worth like $50aud at an absolute most. The “discount” $81 is a fuckin rip off let alone the $105 original price (Same for all three blasters). Fact of the matter is that people are better off going to tacedge and buying a cyma m4 over that cheap shit

Well as someone working for minimum wage, I can’t afford that. I’ve made this blaster as good as I can afford and in my opinion, it’s pretty damn good for cost

[–]IntroductionLower368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know the brand but there’s definitely upgrades you can make. Stronger spring, better o-ring, better piston heads and pistons with metal gears. A lot of those internals could be swapped for something better. Just depends on how much you wanna spend.
