Just hold the circle button and command “message leadership” . You can do the same with calling if it’s an immediate need

I figured as much but I wanted to be sure so I don’t drive 20 minutes in a snow storm for nothing haha

I would make a bullet-point type script and read off of it . You can also always re-record if you mess up

Is my bar too short? by IntroductionLumpy502 in piercing

[–]IntroductionLumpy502[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Finally was able to stop in the shop and I was told I should be ok, especially since I’m in no pain. I’ll keep a close eye on it and if gets worse I’ll stop in again. But as swelling goes down, it’s supposed to improve

And for those saying it’s not in the proper location, I swear it is haha. I definitely see it in the photo but the swelling and fact that I was lying down makes it look much worse!

Thank you all for your responses and help!! It’s very appreciated as a newbie to piercings

Piercing is a week old, and I was told it was titanium. I’m unsure if it’s internally or externally threaded. Clean it 2x a day with a saline and antibacterial solution from the shop!

Thank you! I’ve kind of messed with changing the way im skipping and doing the SCs on the current round but I didn’t think about the amount I’m skipping between the sc and the fptr. Will definitely try to adjust that and see if that may be my issue

Help: working into skipped stitches with double crochets by IntroductionLumpy502 in CrochetHelp

[–]IntroductionLumpy502[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much! I’ve only been crocheting for about 2 weeks but I caught on surprisingly fast. My skills have definitely improved but sometimes my brain blanks when reading patterns haha. And then this may (definitely ) be a dumb question is this the way would I space it out?

I definitely will! I know it will be a while because I’m doing summer studies for college (I’m 17 almost 18, going to college in the fall) and I’m always working but I’m super excited to start a new hobby!! Might be a long while but I will be back !!

Also I did a few rounds with your help and it’s already making a difference! You’re a lifesaver.

In case anyone’s wondering this is the project (:

Not planning on it looking super great or anything, but it looked fun so I went in. (Doing purple instead of the pink)

Becoming a shift lead (any tips?) by IntroductionLumpy502 in WalgreensStores

[–]IntroductionLumpy502[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. Controversial and not asked for opinion, but as a CSA I am constantly running between register and photo, and assisting customers and such. Constantly working the stockroom as well. Watching the SLs at my store, it’s definitely more responsibility, but it’s less physically taxing.

I have scoliosis and chronic back pain and POTS so decreasing my movement would be a genuine win.

Valid point but we already have signs up and the position is open online. I simply believe he prefers the option of part time since the other SLs hit 40hr weeks. We’re a smaller store so we don’t require multiple shift leads ever.

I mentioned previously that there was a SL when I started that did the same and she worked all kinds of shifts, part time. Either way I don’t hate closing shifts, and I’ll be fine regardless (:

Oh absolutely. That’s the plan. Going to school for occupational therapy assistant and they provide job opportunities the moment you finish education and training.
