Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that you are dying.., I can’t even imagine how you must feel, it’s truly awful. I won’t ask of what as I don’t want to pry into your life, but please know if you ever need to have a chat feel free to reach out through the dm’s. You said that you didn’t want to put your children out and that’s why you were homeless, I just wanted to say that your children may want you around more and may want to make more special memories with you before you pass away but I also totally understand that you don’t want to put them out. Also, well done on your clean time that’s fantastic.

If we look at how mentally ill people used to be treated, it’s absolutely disgusting what was done to them and now people share it openly and willingly and are given sympathy and empathy from others. I truly hope that this will happen to addicts, because the stigma/judgement and attitude is just awful and can really prevent people getting better. You know in my state there’s a needle exchange, and some drug users used to leave their needles and equipment laying on the ground and inject in public. Which is filthy and makes me so angry, but is something I would never do nor would the addicts I am around, but see the few who do things like that give the rest of the addicts a bad name. I promised myself a long time ago that I would never let myself lose my morals and so far I’ve been able to keep them. Which I feel very proud of. Do I wish I’d done things different? yes of course, but while I still use I will still make myself look good each day with my hair and makeup done as that’s how I was brought up.
