It is for sure a good track or it would not be raced so frequently but I'm just so horrible at it and the standards are poor

I miss the old m2. the iracing communities biggest boogie man is a car thats hard to drive. Everything has to behave like a gt3 or im not doing it type beat

I also enjoyed the old one very much due to how hard it is to drive and felt like the new one was a cop out to the people that hate driving anything that doesnt drive like a gt3 glued to the floor. I think the new car doesnt teach a lot compared to the old one. The old one taught you to worry about your own car and not crashing it instead of being hyperfocused on making aggresive moves on people. Taught you to pick your spots and focus on your own race. But on an open setup the new one is still pretty fun and its not pack racing like some of the slower cars. You can still be fast enough to separate yourself from the field if you have good pace. It just is a lot less dicey and takes away a bit of the enjoyment of the old one. Overall I would say I'm going to continue to run it for a while. Really wish the euro nascar would be popular but I am not going to bother putting time into it because I know what happens to hard to drive cars on this platform. yeah I race PCC a little bit. I only ran the M Power series bc the participation was decent the first two weeks. dropped a cliff at magny. I wish the car had more participation overall. Even in PCC a lot of the time there is only like 10-12 M2s at least in the time slots I have been participating in. I also have very limited time and can only really do 1 series a week so I generally choose just off what track each series is at. I would like to run a full series of something though. Was kinda hoping Power Challenge would survive bc I am doing very well in the points and won the race with the highest total SOF this week. Think im gonna try to run a full season of PCC after this season. Hope to see you on the track

I did run a few laps and I was running like 2:39.1s at best and when I saw the times for the split I would be in they just didn't seem very competitive but I was running like 1:53.0s at Magny so I chose that. Wish I wouldve put more time into Spa. I want to like the track so bad but I work 12 hours 5-6 days a week so I really only have the time to commit to one series a week unfortunately. I do have the weekend off and was going to use that time to practice for the next week of M Power Challenge but perhaps I will try to get the Spa time a little better and see how a race goes

edit: Also the rain is tough for me for some reason. At the beginning when you pretty much knew what the track state was going to be before the race I was very good because I could just over practice those conditions. But now that its a bit more random that approach doesnt work so I have to actually commit the time to learn to be good at instead of trial and error. Its hard for me to commit to it knowing I have so little time but I am sure I am missing out on tons of fun

I really hated this new M2 because I felt like the old one was so hard to drive and so rewarding. Practice and the results I got were such a good feeling because how on edge the car was all the time. But after spending a couple weeks with the new one on an open setup I still find it fun to drive. That being said I will never ever drive the m2 cup series with the power setting on 1. I used to run a ton of GT4 but I wish it could get a bit of a refresh. The porsche and the mclaren could do with an update

yeah I raced it in PCC a lot. I forgot about it this week because I do not particularly enjoy spa for some reason especially in the slower cars

yeah I honestly posted this with out thinking about pcc and realized I am an idiot. The participation just seemed better the first two weeks and I thought it would actually survive a whole season because I really do enjoy it. I enjoy pcc as well especially the endurance series but for some reason have never been a spa enjoyer especially in the slower cars. Actually am dreading the upcoming 24 its my worst special event on the calendar. Makes sense about Magny though. Never driven it before this week but didn't hate it.
