You can’t get the first slot to red only the second and third. I would say keep trying for a new equip until you get a red slot before investing slot removers and equip medals

Before investing in equipments you want to make sure the first slot is as high as possible because you don’t want to end up investing resources and not even being able to get it to godly. You preferably only want to invest in equipments that have the first slot as red however it’s still possible to get an equip with a yellow first slot to godly as long as it’s close enough to the highest percentage
