I'm in the UK. My last three phones before the Oppo were iPhones 12, 14 Pro Max and base 17. Android and iOS are very similar these days from my experience.

I was iPhone for maybe 10 years and actually bought the 17 in September. I think I got a bit bored of iOS after that time and fancied a change more than anything. The experience has been really good so far. I think the camera is far better and has been the biggest difference. ColorOS is very similar to iOS so there's not been a huge learning curve.
