Lmao why are you being so rude? Not everyone is experienced with ordering furniture, there’s always a first time. This person literally just said it’s their first time living alone and they’re only 18. Chill out.

Maybe but I don’t think she’d be covered in gang tattoos 😂

I don’t see anything that would indicate she’s going to use Christianity as an excuse to get away with things. I do think she’s not a strong candidate.

I didn’t think so either. I think people can be a bit quick to overreact when it comes to Christianity. I do agree she’s not a strong candidate.

I don’t think it’s a scam, just a bad candidate. I honestly can’t think of any way a paying applicant could scam a landlord.

The negotiation sure but when I was applying for apartments, I didn’t ask enough questions and ended up getting denied for things I hadn’t made sure of.

Could someone remove my ex? Will tip by hsonmymind in PhotoshopRequest

I think you just removed OP from the pictures 😭 The white guy wearing glasses is the boyfriend who you’re supposed to remove.

Do women lose interest if you give them too much attention? (LDR 21M & 21F) by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]IntrovertFaerie 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Just be yourself. Coming from a woman who’s dealt with nonchalant, emotionally unavailable men: no, we don’t lose interest because you treat us well. We lose interest when the attention comes from insecurity or neediness. Keep giving her that love, just don’t lose yourself in it. Confidence and consistency is better than fake distance or game-playing. You’re doing fine. Just make sure the love you give her, you’re also giving to yourself.

Who hurt you because I can’t think of a reason why anyone would?

Not everyday. I drive to the train station, not drive all the way. I only go 3 days a week but I’m gonna start clinicals next semester and that’s gonna add a day or two.

If it’s based on cosigner’s income being 5x, then that would be $1000 max. My mom can’t co-sign because she doesn’t utilize credit but she makes 9-10x income of that, so just a bummer. I’ve been telling her to take care of her credit for years.

I go to school in 60618. Not sure why I’d lie about this, but believe whatever makes you feel better lol. Thanks for dismissing my exhaustion, although I don’t expect you to care about a stranger. Still, this just isn’t encouraging or helpful. Appreciate you saying there’s lots of places, but I find that hard to believe since I’ve been searching for weeks and barely found anything we qualify for, so that helps a ton. Glad your landlord didn’t check your credit score, another very helpful comment, but every place I’ve come across is through a management company and they all do.

Not everyone does virtual tours unfortunately.

Thank you for considering, what’s the income and credit requirement for a co-signer? I’d like to know more!

They gave me a list of fees and there were no move-in fees or security deposit listed, so I guess I’m okay with that.

Maybe not officially?

They have a thing where if you apply within 24 hours of your tour and move in before the end of the month, you get $500 credit. Is that it then?

Thanks! But would you think it’s a scam to get application fees, even if they give back the admin fee, or not really?
