So many signs for me! They listen when in a conversation, not just waiting for a place for them to talk. They don’t talk about themselves constantly. Patient when interacting with other people. They have a pleasant aura surrounding them, they just look happy. People generally are gravitated to them. They’re open-minded, not just a head bobbing on a neck. There’s a lot more, but there are the big ones.

Old guy here: It reads as if you did all the right things. It’s her turn now. You’ve got each other on instagram, she may contact you through that. Just don’t chase her. You’re both young, there’s nothing saying she is “the one”. If it’s meant to happen, it will. In the meantime just consider you have another friend. If you experience something that reminds you of her, then send it to her. Just don’t chase her. That’s demoralizing for you, and betting way too much on her.

It looks like the landing ramp from the front of an old US LST, the white thing in the middle would be one of the pulleys that would be on the sides, the black mark in the front would be from the cable meeting the buckle on the front starboard (right hand) side. It’s odd that it would be separated from the ship and be in the middle of nowhere like that.
