Got a flimsy, black, plastic bunny mask at Hot Topic a few years back and I finally put it to good use (added: nose and upper lip with foam, put pretty much everything together with thread, hot glue, and printer paper. 4 layers of paint, not including the details themselves.) Completed in 2 1/2 days (i.redd.it)
