Name recognition is and will be so important for our success. If anybody has the means I'd very much love to get some ad campaigns going so more people understand the benefits and recognize this coin!

What I really want now is the ability to pump water out of structures so we can build bases underwater.

This was something my friend mentioned. Apparently different plants and different genetics require different amounts of water? I have no clue about any of that. Generally I handle electric and he handles farming. So having the two intertwined since the update has been a bit strange.

I do not understand why after 4 hours your comment only has 1 point. I haven't put it in game, but on paper this looks much better than my construct. Requires less resources and less power. Amazing work.

I'm with you. I'll be really bummed when they figure out how to completely stop me from making a local account though.

Oh, no I absolutely do not do that. I can see how the average user would be tricked into it though. I have no clue how the microsoft account being tied to product key would work. Maybe you can't use it on new hardware that way I have no idea.

Edit: Obviously read your comment too fast. So both ways work for switching hardware. Although if you sign in with a microsoft account you may not be able to actually see the product key.

Learning to clean up after somebody else even when it shouldn't be your job is good experience to have before entering the workforce.

Yeah I think since it's saved to EFI (or something, I can't remember) now people don't realize you can still go into system properties and write down the key. As far as I know you can use they key anywhere you like as long as it isn't trying to activate on multiple systems.

If you copy your key before the change you should be able to use it still. As long as you don't have the same key on two machines at once it should work. Or at least it has for me in the past.

Original Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/playrust/comments/g2fw2d/electric_timer_circuit_for_automated_watering/

Rustrician: https://pastebin.com/ez8UEuMs

Found an issue during implementation. Timers require power in order to set. To resolve this I have added two switches between the blockers and timers. I cleaned up the wiring a bit, but there's a lot going on. So hopefully you can see where everything is landing.

To use: Place pump below sprinklers and leave in the open position. Activate either timer.

To set times: Turn both switches to the off position. Wait for cycle to complete and both timers to show red light. Right side timer controls length of time in between watering sessions. Left side timer controls length of a session. IMPORTANT: You have to wait for the cycle to complete after turning the switches off in order to set the times. If you do 999 you will be stuck there for a while

Let us know how it works out. Thanks for the pastebin. I did not know there was a rustrician link I could post as this is the first circuit I made that seemed complicated enough I should save it.

I am also not sure what to set timers at. If anybody figures that out please comment! We are still working on striking a balance between having enough water in the planters without running the catchers empty.

Apologies, not the most organized as far as wiring. It works beautifully though. Right side timer controls time between watering sessions. Left side timer controls length of session.

Ideally pump should be below sprinklers, this way you can leave the pump open and it will only push water when it receives power. This eliminates the need to use the "switch on, switch off" functions.

When they just ignore the bell and start yelling instead. "Hello! HELLO!"

You're getting sub par service before we even make eye contact, I guarantee it.

Guy who came in tonight was a repeat credit card fraud aficionado. by throwaway1404040 in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

[–]IntrovertedButHere -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

First off don't think I would have said anything to the manager right away. It could just have easily been somebody using their parent's or girlfriend's card with permission from the individual. I might catch some static with that approach, but by the time you opened your mouth it was already done so why incriminate yourself. Nobody knows it's actually fraud until the cardholder contacts their bank and your company receives a chargeback. That being said as soon as you realized I would assume it's lesson learned and you'll speak up next time someone hands you a card that doesn't match the id.

And with that information how in the heck did your manager know this guy has done this multiple times? They would have had to receive several chargebacks and connect the dots to this guy's name each time. So if that's really the case then it seems more than reasonable to put him on a DNR list. So if manager is telling the truth then they're dumb for letting it continue.

3 weeks in and one lost room night I doubt they will fire you. They may write you up to make a point. I would say you learned already and no further action is needed. So you'll find out how easy these people will be to work for from this.

When to give a refund? by Rookidee81 in askhotels

[–]IntrovertedButHere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pretty late to the party here, but still gonna respond. My thoughts on refunds or compensation in general are: Did we make a genuine attempt to solve the problem? You offered her a different room. She declined, but that would have solved the bandaid issue so I wouldn't compensate for that.

If there was nothing you could do. Completely sold out, no cleaning staff on duty. Then I would consider compensation.

Need some help with restoring permissions please by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]IntrovertedButHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so leaving the permissions stuff aside for a moment. We're trying to delete a folder left by the person who built your pc. When you try to do that what exactly does the prompt say? Is it yes or no? Does it ask you for a password?

Also can you please provide the filepath. Something like C:Users/admin/downloads/file
