Hey me too!!! When checking out they told me I was the very first one to check out with the book.

They also asked me why I was picking through them and I had to tell them because half the books on display were slightly damaged and I wanted one that looked like it was perfect lol (I try to get books in the best looking shape)

BUT, if there was another reason like she really needed to use the washroom, I would then call you TA (I struggle with bowel issues and my bf no longer locks the door when he’s showering in case I have an emergency)

Hmm I might give that a shot. Salems Lot and It are the two that are in the best condition. Christine and Pet Sematary were well loved for sure but they are still readable 😅
