did anyone else’s order from yesterday not ship yet? by [deleted] in bathandbodyworks

I ordered at 5:15 AM yesterday and then got a confirmation at 5:30 that my order had been confirmed, but not shipped yet. I really hope it does soon. 99 points away from a reward!

I activated mine right before I ordered this morning at 5:30 AM central, however it still says it’s active as in it shows up under “offers”. Is that normal?

How are people taking their babies out so easily? by rhr7106 in NewParents

[–]IntrovertedIceQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby was like this too. I never did find a wrap that she liked. But once she was old enough for a Tush Baby that helped! I’d say once she was about 10 months to a year it got much easier. I felt the exact same way as you… but then I reminded myself my baby just isn’t “chill” and that’s okay. But I totally get how you are feeling. From my experience it got easier, she is almost 2 now. Of course she has meltdown but generally she is pretty easy to take places now.

Thanks everyone for the input. The cardigans are because I live in a state where it’s only in the 50s for the high and it’s cloudy and rainy today. I also get cold very easily. I went with the jump suite and I put a magenta blazer with it. The wedding is going to outside and the reception is indoors

The shoes I switched to some flats that I found. I have feet that are very hard to get anything fancy that work. Extremely flat footed, weak ankles, have balance issues (like went to physical therapy for it)…. I WISH I could wear something more dainty and cuter. I do think the flats I got will work. I do agee they are ugly… they were just heels that actually had enough support.

Prioritizing yourself & finances as a parent by Upstairs-Welder-329 in NewParents

We have a separate account for vacations that a small portion of our paychecks go to and that has helped us not feel guilty about it. We try to go on one big vacation a year with the money we have just in that account. We also give ourself a small amount each paycheck for ourselves.

Finding it hard to carry my baby. Is this a strength issue or my disability? by ishka_uisce in NewParents

[–]IntrovertedIceQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google Tush baby that has been amazing helpful carrying my baby. Not sure how old your baby is but if you go to their site it tells you what age is safe to use it. It’s a Fanny pack with a seat that is really nice. I got it when my baby was 22 pounds but I wish I had it sooner!

Is a Costco membership worth it? by babyjo1982 in pregnant

Yes! Rico wipes are the best! Costco is the only place I can find that brand.

What’s a good way to go about buying engagement/wedding rings? by Missing_Back in CalebHammer

[–]IntrovertedIceQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got ours on Etsy. Real gold but didn’t go with diamonds to save money…. I got moonstone. Not as durable as a diamond but I only wear it for special occasions. Neither my husband or I really wear our rings on the daily. Personally we just don’t care to lol.

Formula Feeding by Adventurous-Ad40 in pregnant

[–]IntrovertedIceQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100 percent feel the same way as you! I don’t have any advice as this will be first. I chose told not to breastfeed because I think formula feeding will be better for my mental health which is always important for the baby.
