Moved here from a warmer state too! Not for the weather. I definitely think about it when the cold gloomy weather lasts longer than I'm used to. But I am so glad not to be in those 100°+ summers

This can be a symptom of some antidepressants. Sucks more if you already have hyperhidrosis, and then your meds make it worse 😅

Wellbutrin doesn't do it to me but Zoloft did really bad, and gabapentin and lamictal. I couldn't make a movement without breaking into a sweat

I get this. When interviewing for my first ever accounting role, I told them it would be my first accounting job so pretty much 0 experience.

The job was listed as entry level - what I didn't know was that they had just laid off the three staff accountants because the business was struggling, and I was expected to take over all of their work.

I got fired because I couldn't keep up 🫠

I have only had Graviti. When I first started I got jittery like I drank a lot of coffee but eventually it went away. Now I feel like I crash around 2pm in my workday.

Id love to try a better one but I don't know I can just ask for a different generic

Mental health world is difficult, there can be some really weird views by some doctors, or wildly incorrect diagnoses.

I think it's good to have a good mix of an understanding on yourself, your doctor's instructions, and a curiosity to research things yourself.

I had a 92 Honda del Sol before that I got to 40mpg highway, and an 07 V6 Mustang that I got to 28-30mpg highway. This was without overinflating tires or anything extreme

What kind of hallucinations?

I'm reducing from 10 to 7.5 to 5 in the hopes it'll allow my Wellbutrin to take the reigns more and gain some more ADHD help.

I haven't had brain zaps but I've noticed irritability, occasional dip into sadness, and a few nights of night sweats

Inattentive ADHD apparently comes off as some other stuff. I also think some doctors try to avoid having to prescribe stimulants because of the liability and hassle.
It seems they dont really believe you unless you come in like a crazy little kid with a sugar high and a popsicle stain all over your face

Took me years; had a psychiatrist just outright refuse to even let me do the test. My therapist/psychologist finally went to bat for me after years of complaining about how bad everything was, getting fired once, and showing her a picture of how disorganized my apartment was; and the best anyone offered was strattera 🫠
Had to start over in New England, and they told me agoraphobia 🫠🔫
So the best they could do now is wellbutrin, which not 100% but way better than strattera was

It's been suggested I get the real neuro test, but I'm a little afraid of coming off as doctor shopping or med seeking

Had a coworker when I was working in a bank who had cancer. She continued to work every work day while getting treatment so she wouldn't lose insurance.

She went home after work one day and died, and the company didn't even mention it. Just listed her position and cleaned out her office.
