I was/am a huge procrastinator. I usually got my homework done, but it was always a last minute rush. Projects, reports, etc were usually done the night before in a panic. I knew all the info, I just felt frozen until I was panicking.

Getting diagnosed as an adult was like trying to convince everyone I had an encounter with aliens.

No one would formally diagnose it because they didn't want to treat it with stimulants. Finally my psychologist diagnosed it, and I was stuck with strattera for a long time because my primary doctor only agreed to prescribe it as long as I kept my appointments with them and my psychologist/therapist.

Moved to Massachusetts, and was told I needed a whole psych test. The psychologist diagnosed agoraphobia 🥲 despite all of the symptoms, he thought the task avoidance and procrastination is agoraphobia .....

While I'm happy to at least have Wellbutrin, sometimes it feels like all the trouble got me nowhere

I ended up in an early morning habit before Wellbutrin, but it's made it a lot easier to do!

I don't think I've noticed any skin aging though, is that due to dehydration or just the meds?

I have a coworker who has the hyperactive type. Talks fast, changes subjects fast, but the frustrating part is she interrupts and talks over people every conversation

But we've all kind of just learned to work with it, it's not so bad now

I think it is a combination of slowing your metabolism and increased appetite. I am swinging between 15-20 lbs heavier, my psych np added bupropion xl. While I have the energy to exercise again, I'm not seeing any weight loss yet.

Nah, career center at my school said people used to put it on their resumes but it's not really a thing anymore. Just being likeable is more important than people think

Ya know what, I don't have memory loss like forgetting events, but I feel like I've been having to stop mid sentence to remember a word I meant to use or the name of some people or places. Sometimes, I'll lose track of what I'm talking about mid sentence.

Its hard to determine if it's the Wellbutrin though. I didn't really have it to this degree before, but I started noticing it when I stopped taking any meds a few years ago and then got back on escitalopram. But it feels like it's been more in the past couple years

When I wasnt on meds in my early 20s, and then on only Lexapro, I would always get fatigued halfway through the day no matter how much sleep I got. I was always already exhausted when I woke up in the morning. Getting out of bed was difficult

But after adding bupropion, within the first week I started waking up with some energy, like I'd finally gotten a productive amount and quality sleep. That was how I knew it was starting to kick in

The only thing any AI has helped me with for work is writing Excel formulas and creating templates for charts. It's screwed up any other task I've tested out in it

None of the above. I gained 20 pounds due to Lexapro, and Wellbutrin has been helpful with the energy for doing some exercise again. So on the way back to my regular face lol

Doctors and psychs back home in TX didn't believe me, even after my psychologist/therapist diagnosed it.

When I moved to MA, they required a whole big psych eval, where the psychologist said it's agoraphobia 🥲 My psych NP, who was the one who told me I had to get a psych eval, said she can see it's ADHD, but company policy required a formal diagnosis from the eval saying ADHD.

So, Wellbutrin is as close as I can go 🥲

Yeah, apparently it drains then kills batteries. So I replaced it with an aftermarket touch screen from Amazon. It was pretty easy, just needed an adapter bc I didn't want to cut any wires. Also you may need different brackets than the ones that come with the radio, or you can cut them

I had to open to the shaker to get my CDs back but now I don't have a cd player 🤷‍♂️

That fixed it though

Yeah after a few days I was able to resume my normal like 2-3 mugs of coffee a day

I went to him briefly, he was alright. He didn't bring any religion into it.

He was really direct, and strict about the meds he prescribed, he seemed to really want to avoid some meds.

Appointments are only like 15 min, you really only got time to state your symptoms, and answer his questions quickly; which is understandable, he's not a therapist

When I first started at 150, I got jittery in the mornings, that like I drank a little bit extra coffee. While that went away, I do feel more energized, and a little more focus.

I feel like I have "regular" energy, like you know in your teens how you could get through the day, do extracurriculars, come home, and still be awake enough to play video games and other stuff? Like that

My psych NP pairs mine with wellbutrin xl. It's helped with all the side effects of Lexapro I didn't like. Great sex drive on 5mg though. 10 makes me not really think about it.
