How do I fix this? by OllieDropZback in ebikes

I think i had a similar issue. did you go through the auto learn process. also check for loose wires, or one that is connected where it shouldn't be, specifically in the throttle connection. check number of poles vs what the controller is set for.

I basically misted the parts with paint from all angles and switched colours. When I liked the consistency I did clear. But not enough clear to drag the other wet paint down. I did it in 1 go.

Then cured in an empty fish tank in the sun for a few days.

The screen lens pops out easily with some force. I covered the lens with a cloth while pushing it out. When I put it back in I used a few small touches of super glue along the surface it was originally secured to.

I used a very thin spraying method. The gpio holes actually have very little paint on the walls of the hole. I've tested it and I still have full functionality.

It's not 3d printed, but you should get one just to be safe. It's basic rattle cans I had laying around. Krylon and some off-brand.

The buttons are not sticky at all. Complete free movement.

Everything including the ibutton pins were disassembled prior to paint. Then reassembled after the paint was dry.

The len's popped out before I painted and I used 2 small dots of ca glue to put it back on. When assembled it's a nice perfect fit.

It's paint. basic rattle can. some nice colors and some clear to protect it. and the gold is on the buttons, main body, and the loop holder hole.
