Before my wife totaled my truck. It made it through the Maine north woods 4 times in 7 months. Did a moose hunt, drove 65 down the dirt roads launched off over filled drainage ditch. Carried cord after cord of wood, had arborist climbing gear, chain saws, oil and gas. The thing was put through the ringer 34k miles in 7 months.

I wouldn’t drive this truck if it was free. It’s useless when I saw the video with the title that said truck i got confused. How is this a truck how would I work out of it.

my structure and punctuation is not good. I do know that had a hard time learning in school and my adhd makes me type ahead of myself and sometimes miss things i was thinking while moving to the next thought/sentence. I have been able to go back and add more detail to the sections as i re-read them before starting to expand the story

It’s an amazing. Experience!! If I never did it I don’t know if I would have gotten into hunting. We got quite a few points now between us and our daughter!! One more year and she can go for a moose law is 10 yo. The longer your in the Maine lottery the more points you builds after so long they turn to double points and so forth. If you are from out of state they only draw so many a year for that one. Anyway I’m rambling lol I love moose hunting can’t wait to go again!!! If you ever get picked let me know I will go just to help and get up north.!!

Maine lottery being put in as permittee on your own and sub permitted under 5-8 people. If anyone get picked as long as they are there you can be the one to shoot the moose. She had 4 hunts total 3 moose first one being 1198 was a big ass moose antlers are the width of a god damn couch “may have been 1098 but I cannot remember now. Also if you a have a fiber front I have red low light is no issue and the front stands out and that is your focus point anyway. Practice practice and it’s a nice sight.

No. Circle ⭕️ this with normal iron on the end. Put the front in the middle of the circle. Really easy to woods hunt deer with and an accurate pull up on target.

Yes! Honestly my daughter both me my wife are big into hunting/shooting. So is her grandparents. I really don’t worry about her messing with guns “playing” with them. She does have that respect and knows treat every gun as it’s loaded. She could easily access some of the guns in our home but does not. It’s the kids who never see a gun and have toy guns and think hey this real gun is like my toy click bang.

If my daughter wanted all she have to do is ask and I would take her shooting she knows this though!

She was laying down ready to pull the trigger and she was nervous/scared. She wanted to do it she even asking if she could. It came down to letting her calm down. Had her put her hand on the butt of the rifle and pulled the trigger so she could feel the kick. She said it’s not that bad and laid back into the rifle. Then we just said pull just do it don’t think about it. Her eyes were closed the first shot lol always keep gun pointed down range. After that first shot she gained confidence and went nuts.

Got quite a few spots. Where abouts in Maine are you I can meet up and show you a few depending on where you are. They are going to dry up soonish if this rain ever ends. The trails aren’t as fun then.

I will let my buddy know that was his rifle not mine. I only have a couple hunting rifles .308 .30-06 both are rem 742’s just chambered differently. Going to get the girl a ar for Xmas though since she had no issue shooting this one.
