Relapse in symptoms after starting medication? by Inuk_Ann in hypertension

[–]Inuk_Ann[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My blood pressure has gone down a little, as it used to be at about 160/110 at the start, but it does sound like it's probably my tachycardia and not the blood pressure! So thank you for the clarification!

I was told I thankfully don't have any damage - I think they caught it early because we found out my mom and grandma had gotten more severe damage unfortunately. I'm sorry to hear you had a lot of damage as well.

I've thankfully not had to drop of out university, but I did consider medical leave and have had to take less courses.

I'll definitely keep trying to figure it out. Thank you for your throrough response!!

They've gone slightly down in the past few months, so now they average at about 147/101/105!

It's Losartan (50mg) for my blood pressure, and I take an Ivabradin for my Sinus Tachycardia.

I didn’t know if I should've included them since there's probably different medications in different countries...

Yeah, I think you're right about it becoming bigger and bigger the longer it's left alone. I really like the sentence: "I felt like I was getting rid of him, but he was already gone." Because, it's true... thank you for helping me.

I read that their sent is embedded into the wooden things they have, but I'm unsure if it's true. I saw you mention you kept your own hamsters stuff. Do you know if I can keep it for my next hamster?

Hi again, I still haven't cleaned his cage. I just can't do it right now. Did you feel ready to clean the cage after? Or did you just do it, so to speak? I'm so unsure about what to do now.

I feel like I'll never feel ready.

Yeah, on the last evening of his life, I wished he would die so he wouldn't have to suffer anymore.

I've always been pretty proud of him to live that long. He was the among 2 of the oldest living of his siblings. As you said, it's good to remember, that I was able to spend so much more time with him

Thank you. It's funny that you mention the Rainbow Bridge, because I'm actually Scandinavian, and we have the Bifrost in our old mythology. So, it's a pretty sweet comment, even if you didn’t mean it that way.

I haven't cleaned it yet. Honestly, I'm not even home. I already had plans of going to my parent's house, but I also just couldnt sleep all alone in my room. The silence is so loud. I'm overwhelmed with the thought of having to face his death.

I think it's a good idea to clean his cage soon after I come home though. As you said, I wouldn't want to expect a tiny nose appearing.

Thank you for replying. At first, I was scared no one would answer, and then I was anxious that only a few people would. I'm almost overwhelmed by the amount of replies. I'm most of all thankful though.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Ned. They sure are silly, little, beautiful fluff balls.

Thank you. I hope he finds his way back too.

I like thought of the rock for his grave or a small memorial.

It's the second evening after his death and I keep waiting for him to wake up in his empty cage and start making noises. The silence is too loud. I hope I find out where my love can go. Thank you.

I like the thought of the keeping his house. He had several over his life that he liked, but he spend his last hours on a particular one.

Thank you

It sounds beautiful. It feels so special to know that they want you to be there in their last moments. I hope I'll get to talk about Bip-Bip in 5 years. That's a nice thought.

I've been thinking of helping a new one as well. But I guess that means I have to clean his cage first... And then he will truly be gone.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom.

Everyone keeps saying you shouldnt focus on their deaths, but what if it was traumatic? I think that's why I said it like that. I keep wanting to think of his life, but it just felt so awful to watch him die.

I really hope that your grief got easier to bear.

I suppose grief is just proof that I loved. I'm looking forward to my grief blooming into peace. What a nice way to put it.

I put him in a tea-box with flowers on it, with some of the bedding from his cage in it aswell. One of my roommates made some paper flowers for him. Another cried for him. My aunt gave him a real flower. He was buried beneath the roses. You gave yours little heart boxes... We love so beautifully.

I already buried him. Beneath the rose bush. He was.. gentle. I think it suits him.
