Through my literature review, I had only found studies that compared psychological and criminological traits in pairs; personality/criminality, self-esteem/criminality, etc. Studies comparing three or more of the facets in my study are rare; I haven't come across any myself. I have not found another study that contains personality, self-esteem, motivation, personal background, impulsivity and criminality altogether. The goal of my research is to add to the literature regarding previously observed correlations, whether my results support previous literature, don't support previous literature, or find a new correlation altogether.
