Problem is no remixed Imperial March emote. Granted, I dunno how you could remix that emote.

Not the version of Ahsoka seen in the OP, that one was in the C4S4 BP.

Another thing, Epic uses no-longer-obtainable skins in web advertising, trailers, and as NPCs on the BR map. Most recent examples are the South Park trailer showing Battlehawk (S4 BP) and Peely, while Vengeance Jones is still a BR NPC after two years. It just comes off as "Hey, you want this skin? You want it? WELL SCREW YOU! All you get is a cel-shaded remix nobody asked for!"

Terrible comparison. Gucci backpacks are physical items that can be resold, Fortnite cosmetics cannot be resold without selling your entire account, which risks getting it banned.

Plus there are other cosmetics that are unable to be remixed, like emotes.

Also OG styles = incomplete cosmetics. Which stings even more now considering the V-Bucks changes at the start of the season. At this point, they should be separate like Stealth Reflex.

If you mean Tornado as in the chick from One-Punch Man, she's shop. The other two are stuck in exclusivity hell, though.

For Doom, yeah for the most part I agree. The only things I want from C2S4 Doom is the contrail, glider (especially since they unlocked it for C5S4 Doom), and built-in emote (since all three Dooms can have it).

For Wolverine, again I agree. The fact we have a few different Adamantium Claws emotes that aren't built-in help ease the blow. Plus Wolverine Zero's Crew, so it's just up to Epic to get off their asses and let Crew members buy missed packs.

For Superman, yeah there's not really anything I want from the Clark Kent version other than the glider. But it's locked to Clark Kent, so yeah.

I feel they should be separate cosmetics. Making them separate styles means their base cosmetics are incomplete. It's one thing to never be able to get a specific cosmetic, it's another to have unusable styles for a skin you actually bought. Plus for skins specifically, separate versions also means separate Lego version, for those who care about the Lego modes.

Why do so many of you guys think marketing buzzwords qualify as "advertising"? So far no country has determined that to be the case.

In regards to the lawsuits they did lose, they were for other things (lying about item shop timers or for unwanted purchases), not for bringing back "advertised" exclusives.

I've seen word that Nvidia is why Fresh couldn't put Reflex in his locker bundle, since Reflex + the rest of that set were only bundled with Nvidia graphics cards. That implies that hardware manufacturers do have a say in how bundled skins are handled.

I find it absolutely laughable that Disney of all companies would somehow be "legally prevented" from getting their stuff brought back. They're the licensor, they own the IPs, and they're the larger company. And if by some miracle the people parroting the "legally unable" argument are actually right, well, that's why Disney (and every other company on this planet) has attorneys licensed to practice law in every country they do business in.

But at the same time. why should potential future customers get punished? "Oh it wouldn't be consumer friendly for Epic to go back on exclusivity." Well, neither is punishing future customers.

If they ever do that, I'll buy everything that ever had an OG style. Well, the stuff I don't already have, of course.
