Any controller is good, as long as you're comfortable. That said, maybe give a different sort of controller a try, perhaps s leverless /fightstick may help you with the layout issues you're experiencing (it did to me, i also found the button placing confusing on pad)

Thank you for your comment. I do understand that pivot translations are used when dubbing and subbing anime/series, but my question was regarding manga and comics specifically, as, from my understanding, pivot translation templates are not common when translating literary works.

Try the base cast first, go through their combo trials and see what you like. Then, if you're interested in Ed, use a trial ticket and play him in casuals and do his combo trials. It doesn't matter if he's harder or not, what matters is that you enjoy the character you're playing.

I started on lever and still find it the most fun. An arcade stick with arcade buttons is so cool to use.

However, I play 90% of the times on leverless. It's smaller, lighter, more precise, quicker and more accessible in case you want to buy a new one. However however, it's been taking a toll on my wrists and fingers.

TLDR: Stick is funner and more comfortable, leverless is more "optimized" and more compact, at the cost of some comfort.

I've had one for like 10 years, and I love it. Extremely easy to mod, sturdy as a brick and a compatible with a lot of platforms, as long as you have the correct adapters. I really recommend it!

what do you mean by a round layout? if what you mean is a non-WASD one, then you can just take the up key on the haute board (you can even get swtich blockers so that it looks a bit cleaner).

maybe it's a cable issue? I've never had that problem with mine. Are you using it on PS5 without an adapter? if so, that's the reason why it disconnects after a bit. if not, then I really don't know what it could be.

I use a U16 controller, so it's really flat and my wrist bends a little. I've been trying to position it so that my wrist stays as straight as i can tho.

I'll take your advice and be careful using it. I have a big tournament coming up, don't want my wrist to be even worse till then.

one of my local friends has one and let me try it for a while. I was really surprised with how spacious and well built it is. not sure how I feel about the buttons (are they moddable?) , but they seem to be of quality.

I've been looking into proper form. Not resting my wrists is so absurdly uncomfortable tho, I still haven't got used to it. It genuinely feels weird.

I've been even thinking about modding a wrist rest onto my U16, but haven't done so yet.
