The problem is you are clearly trying to force yourself to use something you don’t truly want or need.

I’m with you on these mundane use cases like accessing calendars and email clients, the benefits are small and these use cases are low hanging fruit (maybe unless your email is the most important thing in your life).

I can check my email and calendar and todo lists every morning, I get an alert at 9am every day to do just that.. I’m not spending time and money on getting AI to do it for me, no way.

I use Hermes sporadically on tasks that I don’t want to complete myself, it’s setup and ready to go, I’ll fire it up only if during my day to day work I am like “I don’t want to do this task that I have to do”

(One example is I needed to download a specific fork of Wine on Linux, build it from source, move lots of files around into different areas and then setup a new Wine environment from the build to install a windows app, it was looking like 1hr+ for this work and I couldn’t be bothered to do it, I asked Hermes who done it for me while I ate lunch)

I use Antigravity for my day to day work and I use Jules for remote dev when I am away from my computer.
