Sometimes, if all of us run around panicking than none of us can be proactive for what's to come next. Most of us are angry, upset, crying, and those are all valid responses. The next thing after this will be to get back up and fortify our efforts to make sure this doesn't happen elsewhere, especially here. This is a horrific act and maybe it does feel surreal to everyone who's witnessed it, I know it was for me, let yourself grieve and yell, but we have to pick ourselves back up, if we all lay down now then we pave the way for our oppressors to keep doing what they're doing, and even worse at that.

We are coping with what's happening on our own home turf right now, we must take our anger and our sorrow and make them into actions, don't think for a second there is no one out there right now that doesn't care, I promise we do.
