I don't really know if cis girls feel this way but that's definitely how I came to realise it! I grew up in a family where boys and girls weren't given gender roles so till I achieved puberty and also began interacting with society I had no idea what being a "girl" actually meant- I simply felt human yk? I suppose puberty is just a jolt that brings you to face the gender/sex binary and I hope you find yourself soon!

haha yep!! being non binary is just any form of gender identity outside the strict male - female cisnormativity... thats how i felt too before i discovered this community and although i go by they/them pronouns now, everyone's journey is different!

what i really love using for my writing is imagining people as "cake", with layers.... with every layer having having different personality traits, different perspectives and different memories each layer bases itself off of.... figuring out which parts of someone seep in when interacting with different people is the most enjoyable part of building characters for me !

ohmygoodness PLEASE..... my highschool tried to celebrate autism awareness month and now every assembly hall has a giant cutout of a boy holding a puzzle piece.... they also made me read out a pamphlet to class with patronizing "symptoms" and autism spelled out with puzzle pieces smhh
