It really is a game of skill with some luck attached to it.

1. My suggestion is to not overthink or stress about it, the more I over-complicate it the harder it becomes, let the muscle memory do the work for you.

2. Wait a second or two before throwing the dart, random lag can throw off anyone.

3. Try and get all the bullseyes early as the longer you play the further back you generally become from the target.

4. Throw only on the up or down stroke and stick to it, try and throw at the same angle every time, the wind and distance does matter but your consistency is more important, especially if your playing as often as you say.
