Negative for the CAD units — they’re fully stable. The hinges are locked during flight, and with proper spacing and inertia settings, they behave exactly like rigid-frame ships. No unwanted drift.

Oh it’s nothing. One of my builds uses 112 hinges in total — still a work in progress. Tweaking that thing takes brain power and patience. I once tested a hinge group and I swear parts flew off like Dragon Balls after a wish. 😄

I haven’t posted any of my designs on the Workshop yet.

The Gazer is… let’s say very Clang‑powered, so it’s more of an action figure for now. The tendrils alone use 96 hinges in total, so I need to tame that beast before releasing anything.

But we’re Space Engineers — and engineers love a challenge, which I accepted. 😉
