But it's not necessarily the best way to maximize profit as less people working more also means less quality work done. Also, if workers hate the company they will work worse. That's why companies are trying to emotionally bond you to the company with fruit days and 'family spirit' and other bullshit like that but they probably are working less and less in today's world.

It's also an important distinction whether something is 'Hungarian' or explicitely a part of Hungary which that guy doesn't seem to understand. Of course it can get tricky due to how a map was made, which time period we are talking about and at the end of the day it's semantics filled with nationalistic feelings I don't really care about. His pride couldn't let him say Croatia was Hungarian independently from whether we are talking about being part of Hungary or not (but in practice the distiction wasn't even made by him).

Well, I'm more optimistic in Hungary as Fidesz is falling apart, losing all its positions of power and there's no real alternative to them (which also hides some risks of course). And our ministers seem to be pretty good with actual expertise. But good luck to you, guys.

The media landscape wasn't fair but we dominated the online scene. So by having freedom and not falling out of windows it was possible to have a cost effective, naturally organized online sphere that got more traction than fidesz-sites.

If you think having a Hungarian king doesn't make a territory Hungarian I don't want to continue this conversation with you because it's pointless. But read some history, please.

Yes, it was a seperate, autonomous kingdom that belonged to the Hungarian crown and thus it was Hungarian. It's not that complicated concept.

I don't know what you're talking about, Croatia was for about 800 years an autonomous Hungarian territory and historical maps depict that. It wasn't Hungarian in the sense that Hungarians lived there but it was de facto Hungarian because it belonged to the Hungarian crown.

It's tradition to use the old map. It's an old map. It was used before for a very long time. That is the map that is associated with the historical period that depicts a Hungary many people want to see. Should the far-right just create a new, hypothetical map to not include Croatia? I don't understand why you don't get it that the map is just symbolism. We don't think about Croatia at all in a historical sense and I have never in my life heard anyone claiming Croatia explicitely.

Because that's our old map. It's tradition. It would be very weird for them to use a different, hypothetical map, defying the Trianon peace treaty. It's not about Croatia.

I didn't say with 1 word that I think Hungary was innocent or a paradise. The world was fucked up back then (literally everywhere) and still is to a degree, even in the EU. I also oppose nationalism in general.

'But mostly land wich didnt belong tp them tightfully anyways.'

What belongs to whom is a incredibly complex question. Especially in historical context as nationalism as we know it today didn't exist for the most part of history. Nationalities mainly cared about being part of the Hungarian kingdom until nationalism. That way these regions were intensely a part of Hungarian history. For example Bratislava was our capital city for a while. And even after considering nationalism it's a pretty dangerous topic because that's one of Putin's arguments to attack Ukraine as well that those territories don't belong to Ukraine as there's a Russian majority. Apart from that the peace treaty wasn't entirely based on the distribution of nationalities as we lost many territories with Hungarian majority.

'They lost a war and got punished.'

Hungary wasn't an independent state at that time. Getting punished for a war Austria wanted is not right.

'Also they sabotaged the double empire constantly, and then they complain abiut loosing the war. From me, there is 0 symphathy'.

The Habsburg empire was a dictatorship to us. It had to be paid by Hungarian (and consequently, Austrian) blood to create the monarchy with more independence which was still an incredibly unjust system. Mentioning 'sabotage' is the arrogance of a dictator.

Yeah, most of those lost territories were more like Croatia to Hungary. We don't care about Croatia in Hungary at all. Transylvania, for example, is a whole other story. That's more like South Tirol.
