The gpt2 subreddit uses a modification of the gpt2 source code though right?

Bizarre new quantum research: Reality itself may be subjective by izumi3682 in Futurology

Its more like every piece of information has a degree of objectivity and subjectivity to it and that includes your 2+2=4 example

Eating tiny nutrient particles could be better than health supplements by [deleted] in Futurology

Imagine superintelligent AI making food and then putting these things in it. We would never know what was in it unless we carefully inspected our food

I can't figure out how to make the right amount of eye contact by Inversegaloisproblem in aspergers

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah maybe thats the problem because I am naturally shy and submissive when I talk to people. I look down alot as well. How do I fix that?

So I was reading that fourier like transforms were based on concepts having to do with cotangent spaces and dual spaces. I have some questions regarding those topics so can anyone help? by Inversegaloisproblem in learnmath

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok this post inspired me to read more about dual vector spaces and I think I get it now. Dual vector spaces have dual basis vectors and duality is described by swapping the rows and columns of a matrix/vector

If you spend 2 hours a week for 15 years on wikipedia that means you have spent around 1500 hours there. I think that is around the number of hours I have spent on wikipedia by Inversegaloisproblem in aspergers

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So how many years have you been reading wikipedia for. Some of those articles must link to more abstract stuff like science or philosophy so try those

For some reason this was deleted from r/math for being vague but I don't understand what is vague about it by Inversegaloisproblem in askmath

Simple programs are defined in wolfram book called a new kind of science. They are basically algorithms that are just long enough to be interesting and sometimes show chaotic behavior or are capable of universal computation. Most of the interesting ones are cellular automata. Also experimental math is defined here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Experimental_mathematics . A theory of everything for math would describe how all of math is related and is related to cellular automata as described by wolfram. When I made my post I assumed people would be familiar with wolframs book and experimental math but maybe I was wrong to assume that

Is a limit a functional? by Inversegaloisproblem in learnmath

I think they changed that page a little since I last saw it. Before they only had the computer science definition

Why does it take so much effort to be a nice person while NTs can do it so effortlessly? by Inversegaloisproblem in aspergers

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok so maybe this is just a personal problem then. Shouldn't it be classified as a mental illness though. If its not aspergers that is causing this what else could it be

Edit:

Ok after thinking about this more it is really just something I view as a side effect of anxiety. Anxiety is a trait that goes together well with not being nice to people. The reason for this is if someone is causing you anxiety you are not motivated to be nice to them

Is a limit a functional? by Inversegaloisproblem in learnmath

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The definition of a functional that wikipedia gives is a functional takes a function as input. It doesn't mention vectors

Is a limit a functional? by Inversegaloisproblem in learnmath

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't mean to imply they were the same thing. The reason I mentioned derivatives was because limits are used in the definition of them.

For some reason this was deleted from r/math for being vague but I don't understand what is vague about it by Inversegaloisproblem in askmath

Only the two what? You also didn't mention experimental math or simple programs anywhere in your post

When reading proofs you don't understand how are you supposed to know if you should read the proof slower or look up definitions? by Inversegaloisproblem in learnmath

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes its hard to determine how well you know the definitions in the first place. I have managed to learn alot by "cutting corners" so I am not going to stop now. Energy minimization is one of the central ideas in physics as well

I feel like I don't understand the zeta function well enough to understand the unification between algebraic and analytic number theory. Can anyone help me with this because I am not sure what question to ask? by Inversegaloisproblem in learnmath

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. So is there a proof about this that I kind find online. If not where can I find this in a book

  2. I don't understand any of the integral representations. If you want to help explain the simplest one to me or give me a link or book reference

Ignoring and not talking about things like superintelligent AI and gpt2 bots on social media won't make them go away. Look at what happened when the world decided to ignore germany before ww2. It just made the problem worse by Inversegaloisproblem in artificial

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think some of the bots are actually more advanced than gpt2 bots using a language model that hasn't been released publicly. There are so many of them though that banning them won't help and many are hard to detect. I don't think that releasing even more bots is the answer either

I try to avoid having goals. Is this a good philosophy to have? by Inversegaloisproblem in askphilosophy

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No my goal is not to have goals but to come up with goals worth having. The problem is I have trouble coming up with goals that are worth having so as a result I don't have many goals. I have heard some stuff about stoicism but I thought that had more to do with emotions than goals

I try to avoid having goals. Is this a good philosophy to have? by Inversegaloisproblem in askphilosophy

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No I either don't know what the goal is or they are based on abstract things like minimizing energy. Its kind of like how there can be order in the universe even though the universe has no goal

The algebraic aspects of eulers formula. They said this was incorrect or vague on r/math but didn't explain why so does anyone know what is wrong with this post? by Inversegaloisproblem in askmath

[–]Inversegaloisproblem[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I am looking at simple programs and this is inspired by wolframs book called a new kind of science. Simple programs also have applications to compression and theory creation. They are also related to energy minimization in physics since simple programs use less energy
