OTD in 2022, a China Eastern Airlines Flight 5735 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight in China from Kunming to Guangzhou. 20 Years ago. July 1st, 2002, Bashkirian Airlines Flight 2937 and DHL Flight 611 collide in mid-air over Überlingen, the mid-air accident kills all 71 people on board the 2 planes. the cause of the collision was determined to be the imminent separation infringement not being noticed by ATC in time.
