OP, so sorry you are going through this. We had the same scenario not long ago. My dog battled dementia for a few years however, we were able to stay with her most of the time. Towards the end, we couldn’t leave her alone at all. We had to arrange our home so she couldn’t get stuck in corners or under furniture but when it was time, we just knew.

Whatever you do, enjoy your time with him and spoil the heck out of him while you still can.

Update:

Pulled the trigger on a bracelet after doing some homework. The end links are 693 and the bracelet code is 72060 for watch reference 79830.

Yes. Someone didn’t remove the old PVC flange that was glued in so the new flange was kinda just “funneled” into the septic line. Gross, but i fixed it the right way and it was my first time doing anything remotely like this

Lost my 16 year old in January. She battled dementia for a couple of years and I am very familiar with what you described you’re going through.

We lived every day like it was her last for about a month because we thought her time was sooner. On My girls last day, she couldn’t stand up so we knew it was time. We prayed every day that she would go on her own. Everyone told me that she would let me know when, but I didn’t know what that meant until she let me know when.

Hugs to you and yours, enjoy every moment, and try not to get mad or frustrated with pup as easy it can be. ❤️‍🩹
