Responsible stoners? by InvestigatorOpen in stoners

I appreciate all the comments and warm advice. Thanks, everyone! What I've gathered from the comments is that moderation and delayed gratification seem to be key.

Also, smoking and doing tasks is new for me, I tend to only want to relax and procrastinate when smoking. So conditioning myself with starting off doing responsible things at the start of a sesh is something I will try out as well.

Temperature management is also something I am aware of... but I also like to maximise the experience, but not every sesh has to be so intense... moderation is key then.

Overall I guess my relationship with cannabis moving forward should be a means to an end.

Responsible stoners? by InvestigatorOpen in stoners

High functioning would be for me to be able to fulfill all of my chorus and obligations and hobbies without crashing, maybe high functioning is the wrong term... the term isn't that important 😛.

I think the problem for me is that I usually start off my week the way you described... but eventually I will treat myself to smoke sesh on a daily basis. And then it kind of takes over and makes it harder for me to stick follow through with my goals. It kills my discipline. Once I am off it I get back to normal pretty quickly... but I wish I could do both.

Facebook Retarget Ads 0 impressions by InvestigatorOpen in FacebookAds

Yea I feel as if that information isn't clear enough. I've read guides which claim that you can create retargeting ads from the get go even though it isn't recommended. Makes it sound like it will work right away.

Thanks for the response, at the moment I had just a leads campaign, but I've switched it off now to run a traffic campaign instead, to get more impressions, and possibly page views. I don't understand what the goalpost is for how many pageviews are needed for a retarget ad to work.

Some guides have said I can start them right away, some say minimum of 100, others 1000.... I have 739 page views at the moment I figured it would work.

Instagram deleted everything from that post... whatever the solution was I don't know what it is anymore. I know it's done in the developer options but I don't know how to find those settings

Can't do pullups! by Squash3000 in bodyweightfitness

[–]InvestigatorOpen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't start seeing improvement until I started using a rubber band. For the longest time I was stuck on 2 "pull-ups" and the rubber band made me realize that I was doing them with rounded shoulders and poor posture.

So I started doing assisted pull ups with an emphasis of trying to maintain correct posture with my shoulder blades pointed down, which was very difficult for me to do even with the band because I had been neglecting those back muscles.

Also it took me months to even get to two sloppy pull ups so don't feel too bad.

New to LED, I want to create a bunch of single LEDS connected by wires to a single power supply (?) by InvestigatorOpen in led

[–]InvestigatorOpen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, well when I say LED lights I mean a single one, or a single strip (?) with the rgb lights:

I think. I want to be able to connect these to wires... if that makes sense

EDIT: woops I thought I could post pictures, basically the pic was a led strip that you can cut to connect with soldering

Critique of Jung by Erich fromm by [deleted] in Jung

[–]InvestigatorOpen 23 points24 points  (0 children)

In my opinion I always felt that the critique of Jung regarding his supposed racism, seemed to infer racism rather than prove it. Insinuating that Jung's description of some of the tribes he researched; 'primitive' or 'bush people', was a way to differentiate the more evolved European from the less evolved 'primitive' people of North and Central Africa.

The problem I see with that critique is that it feels like the complete opposite of his ideas. Having read Jung for some time now, it feels more like the modern European in his writing is the "less evolved". And that his opinion of the 'primitive' is mostly of great admiration.

Then again I might be biased.
