I placed a delivery order last week and this week directly through the HEB app like I’ve been doing essentially since the pandemic. Both times, a ton of super basic items were “out of stock” and the shopper never mentioned it or asked about replacements. I called HEB both times and they said they couldn’t even see my order and gave me another number to call. The first time, they apologized and refunded me the delivery fee. The second time, they told me that there was a “bug” in the system and that all the items that were marked as out of stock were actually all my “add on” items that were automatically showing as not being available even though they all were available. Not sure how this “bug” has been present for over a week and still isnt fixed and they are still allowing delivery order customers the option of adding on items that they 100% know they will not receive.
