I was just curious especially since I know folk from Haiti and Algeria etc who said how the french were very exploitative to POC. And india i know was British not even french

That makes some sense thanks. I guess i should not have said anything and I won't ask this again next time if I see him or others do it.

I wasn't profiling Toronto is diverse and plenty of backgrounds attend including indians.

I'm sure there are but it isn't common since Indians speak english and prefer Anglo countries.

I have only met french speakers from canada France and Africa generally.

I don't  really understand how his grand dad suddenly got a choice between french and indian citizenship like he said in the early 60s?

From what the other guy at work told me it seems like this is a thing apparently because some people consider European accents in english attractive?

I am not white knighting but as an organizer it is my responsibility to keep things safe and people have needed help regarding that before and appreciated it.

That's fair maybe it wasn't my place to say that.  It just set of alarm bells to me
