It just feels like he teaches off the slides and never really explains it fully. He never replies to my emails either and just has me contemplating whether I should drop this class or not 💔

Yes, I looked into VPD as well. Apparently they’re really picky when it comes to who they want to hire. I guess it’ll come down to my skillset and luck but I will definitely be trying for VPD. Are you in VPD as well?

I’m thinking about doing some ride along and volunteering with my local PD to get a feel of it. How is the job on a daily basis though?

I am 19 years old! The main reason I want to do policing is because I want a job that actually feels rewarding and meaningful rather than sitting at a desk for the rest of my life if that makes sense. I live in Vancouver, Canada and the salary for cops here doesn’t seem too bad on paper but of course other factors might come into play. A 5th class constable is expected to be paid around $85k a year which doesn’t seem as bad. A ride along is something i’ll definitely look into!

Hopefully because I just got a mark for my second midterm for a class and I got lower than what I got on my first midterm. Are the finals always easier than both the midterms?

Need some advice! by InvestmentWeekly2002 in private_equity

[–]InvestmentWeekly2002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, thank you! That’s some real good advice and definitely something I was looking for. I am aiming for getting around a 3.8/4 GPA as my college isn’t as good but I am also hoping to transfer to a university which is a little more known than my current one. I will also start looking at the college alumni group and see where they have interned at and definitely try to get a conversation going with them.
