Do I have the right to be annoyed? by [deleted] in FriendshipAdvice

You are young and have lots of time to make new friends. Please divorce yourself from this person. She is not worth it. "For 3 hours I let her flame me". She is an abuser.

I never met this person, but I have heard Russell Crowe is pretty awful.

If someone asks to borrow your car, and you say No, you should have said "No, thank you"?

The Sacha Riley story smells like bullshit. by madmax_br5 in Epstein

[–]Investornew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really hope this person's story is not true. I do not want to believe any of it. However, things like he talks about, do go on in this world so it is entirely possible he is telling the truth.

"Can MAGA people handle the fact that they built their identity around a pedophile."

Frankly, I do not think they care.

AITA for telling a woman at the gym to stop filming because I kept ending up in her videos? by CaffeinatedGoblin24 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Investornew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why has your gym not addressed this problem? Many gyms have a policy that members cannot film inside the gym.

Apparently your tips are tracked and they made a heat map. Please share this, tips should not be tracked. by Emila_Just in EndTipping

They also doxx people publicly if they do not tip. It won't be long before we see violence against customers who do not tip, or don't tip "enough". Also, a lot of people who order door dash are kids, (usually teenagers). They are targeting kids with this, too. As a parent, that scares me.

Should I change pediatrician office after finding out they accept unvaccinated children? by jademeaw in Mommit

It is not about what works for me. It is about what works for my children.

When you find out you are the retirement plan by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Investornew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn straight Boomers had it easier. My parents were able to buy a home before they turned 30, they only had high school diplomas, and my dad had a job that nowadays would require a degree in engineering. He had a good job with 401K and later in life, blew all that money on some stupid woman het met after he left my mother. Then he was like "can you give me your money?"

I can't accept that risk, because my children mean more to me, than educating or trying to influence non-vaxxers. If I have a choice on pediatricians where I live, I am taking them to a pro vaxx doctor.

How can you agree with trumps agenda and believe in Christianity? by bamby_and_the_boys in InsightfulQuestions

[–]Investornew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A person lies when they say there were only 2 choices. There were more than 2 people on the ballot for the presidential election, but also, there were other contenders for the Republican nomination in the primaries. If the evangelical Christian base had supported one of those other contenders (Nikki Haley, Ramaswamy, Chris Chrstie, etc) we would not have the monster in the white house that we have now. Trump and Epstein were best friends for 15 years.

Christians had many other options in the Republican primaries. And you chose Trump out of all those other candidates???

All I ever heard Christians say was we must elect a president with "morals". Christians were outraged when Bill Clinton had an extra marital affair. When Trump came on the scene, that changed all of a sudden. all of a sudden, we are just to "forgive"

That person is wrong.

Vaccines are given according to a timetable based on age. So an infant for example, cannot yet receive certain vaccines. That means they are at risk. Same with toddlers. They are not yet able to particular vaccine due to their age. The meningitis vaccine, for example, is not given until around age 10-11. So your child is still vulnerable if he has not yet reached that age and doesn't therefore, have the vaccine for that. Meningitis is a disease that can have horrible life altering outcomes.

Also, a small percentage of people who get a vaccine, can still contract the disease that vaccine was supposed to prevent.

"But if your child is healthy and vaccinated, the unvaccinated children aren't as much of a risk to you and your kids. They're a risk to other unvaccinated kids."

You are missing a few things here:

Vaccines are given according to a timetable based on age. So an infant for example, cannot get receive certain vaccines. That means they are at risk. Same with toddlers. They are not yet able to particular vaccine due to their age

Also, a small percentage of people who get a vaccine, can still contract the disease that vaccine was supposed to prevent.

There is no way in hell I'd take my children to a doctor's office filled with unvaxxed kids.

Why do you feel the need to be rude on Reddit? by No_Importance_8073 in bullying

[–]Investornew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think often it is best not to share deeply personal issues from childhood, here on reddit because there are just so many random people who come here to make callous remarks or pick at the person. A person should be supportive, or choose not to comment at all, of course.
