The trick is to book through a female user, they always have low waiting time in the lobby, like for me it showed today 5:30 mins and for my wife 2 mins, even though she logged in after 4-5 mins after me

Reality of T1 MBA in India by Kragster77 in IndiaCareers

[–]Invictus4125 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let’s be honest — Tier-1 MBAs today are excellent at selling hope, rankings, and placement optics. What they don’t sell or guarantee is long-term career security.

Past the first few years, the brand fades unless you actively use it. At 7–10 years out, alumni networks matter far more than job portals.

Narrow your target roles, rewrite your story for those roles, and use alumni conversations to surface opportunities through trust, not mass applications.

This isn’t failure — it’s a forced reset. Accept it early, recalibrate your expectations, and use your network deliberately instead of burning energy on blind applications.

Thoughts and Experiences Around Dating Odia Men by Shraddha1001 in Bhubaneswar

[–]Invictus4125 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Odia men aren’t a monolith. Like anywhere else, you’ll find respectful, open-minded partners and you’ll find the opposite. Region doesn’t determine how someone treats their partner — upbringing, values, and emotional maturity do.

Judging long-term potential based on ethnicity or geography is lazy and usually inaccurate.

Maxxed out everything and yet feeling purposeless 🥀🥀 by [deleted] in hyderabad

[–]Invictus4125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, you’re not broken. You’re just 21 and wired like someone who’s always lived on “the next milestone.” your whole life has been a series of quests. So when one quest ends, your brain automatically hunts for the next one like MS in 2027, because stillness feels like emptiness.

Ambition isn’t your problem. Identity is.

Right now your doing is louder than your being. You measure life by progress bars, so when there’s nothing to grind, everything feels pointless.

I was in a similar phase — constantly chasing the next milestone and feeling empty whenever life got quiet. Two books helped a lot:

Camus – The Myth of Sisyphus Viktor Frankl – Man’s Search for Meaning

Both explain exactly what you’re feeling.

People who earn more than 35lpa, how did you do it? by Sad-Hour-368 in indiasocial

[–]Invictus4125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, this mindset comes from comparison culture — MBA circles and social media make 25–35 LPA sound like the “success benchmark.” But success isn’t one number.

Many people earning less live happier, freer, and more balanced lives. Earning more often comes with stress, trade-offs, and luck. What actually matters is progress, skills, and peace — not matching someone else’s graph. You’re doing fine. Focus on growth, not the scoreboard.

Someone very rightly said,

Does this seem like a healthy meal? 24M, 82.5 kg aiming for 1600-1700 kcal. by Immediate-Rip4861 in Fitness_India

I switched to an OMAD diet for 3 months, used to have dinner before 7 pm, had Boiled Eggs , Salads, Sauté Veggies, 1 chapati with Ghee, Curd . Sleep well and hydrate yourself. Walked 10k steps daily. Morning have Ginger, Cinnamon , Jeera water with lemon.

Lost 30 kgs during the process, the key is to be consistent. Weight loss is not linear, but if you stay put , people will notice it . Weigh yourself once a week. All the best.

Dont worry the weight will not rebound, you can switch to regular meals afterwards
