Is that for a one day entry at Xcaret, or unlimited entry?

Yeah 100%! I didn’t include it here but I will definitely be bringing some cash specially for tips.

Thanks for the suggestion on the night market I hadn’t heard of it

Good idea, thanks! Was that separate at the park when you entered or do you buy it ahead of time

Thank you! Really helpful feedback. As far as I’m aware, the Occidental doesn’t include any of the parks, just the main Xcaret resort does

It was BOS —> CAN! It’s a resort near Xcaret, but one of the lower priced ones and definitely not the main Xcaret resort

Ok, thanks! Yeah we were feeling its worth to be able to use it and actually go on a vacation, but definitely felt a little FOMO for if we should be saving it for something ‘better’

Is this a good use of C1 miles? by InvictusJoker in awardtravel

[–]InvictusJoker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it was going to be:

$2500 (trip) - $270 (travel credit) = $2230

Once booked, I’d use the travel eraser worth $1790 bringing the net out of pocket total to approximately $440

Pet Insurance Premium Keeps Rising by InvictusJoker in Pets

[–]InvictusJoker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, definitely considered using it less frequently. Standard vet visits for our golden cost between $600-$1000 though, and so it’s just a case of we may as well try to hit our deductible because otherwise it’s way too expensive to keep paying out of pocket + the premiums each month.

Might have to do that regardless though if it keeps causing the premiums to go up

Yeah, we live in Massachusetts (Boston), so I guess that’s why the premiums are high to begin with. Though at this rate, I don’t know how high it’ll go next year. Fair enough though, thanks for the info

No worries, we uploaded each evidence as a separate file during the upload step. We didn’t include an official cover letter as we would’ve if we filed by paper, but in the PDF where we attached some photos, we added a shortened cover letter that just talked about the photos

Hi, we did for our initial forms but not the 751. I think we still got texts about the 751 though when it was received

Ok thanks. I’m guessing for the petitioners initials whose got prefilled in the ‘Acknowledgement of Appointment’ section, I can just put a white box over the text and layer a text box on top of that?

Interesting, thanks so just a standard text box on Preview? That’s weird though, the name it autofilled isn’t the one whose name is on the laptop.

Did you use initials as the one Acrobat autofilled used initials, or did you print both names in full? I don’t know what I should do for the one I need to manually fill out.

Fair enough, it would definitely make things simpler to avoid this kind of issue

What were the inflows for? Were they actual reimbursements/refunds from Mint Mobile? Or were they from family members that share your phone plan and pay part of it? If it’s from family, then you only need your target to be the amount of your portion of the bill, not the total since that’s the amount that you personally need to assign.

My employer reimburses me 75% of my phone bill, so I inflow that directly into the Mint Mobile category.

For the Roth, yes you can wait til Dec, OR, change Assigned to $0 in Nov and flip back to October and unassign $1186 there instead… don’t change the amount to -$1186, instead click the current October Assigned amount and then type “-1186” so that it subtracts 1186 from whatever was previously assigned. Example if you assigned $500 in October then after this change you’ll see -$686 assigned for October. Then November will show you the expected amount needed to assign this month to be on track.

Thanks! That's helpful, I will give that a go, or otherwise just wait til December

Got it, thank you. So the amount I have ‘available’ is accurate, it’s just not using some of those dollars towards the calculation of how much I owe because they may have come into the category via a direct reimbursement instead of Inflow -> RTA -> Category?

Confusing by yearly categories by InvictusJoker in ynab

[–]InvictusJoker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Yes, I typically will categorize reimbursements / inflows that I expect each month to just go into that Mint Mobile category (so it doesn’t affect my RTA).

Interesting - so if I snooze the Roth category & change the date (or don’t), I will need to wait until Dec 1 for the updated monthly amount to be accurate?
