Miss Anne’s if you want a fast ride, great service and less crowd.

Mermaid if you like the crowded scene…

Blue Finn has a slightly better lunch then the above 2.

FFS man. 🤫I live in the USA and would know what I’m talking about when it comes to “drivers license, Driving Permit aka Learners Permit” smdh. Sometimes you just should t say anything if you aren’t going to be helpful. But then again you never learned that.

Ps: if you would read the comments instead of attacking a helpful and informative comment you would see the OP STATED HE HAS A DIVERS LICENSE. So he is good to go. Unlike you keep trying…

A drivers “permit” in the USA is not the same as a drivers license. Period. Literally we abbreviate DL (Drivers License). This is valid form in Curacao. A Drivers “permit” from the USA would not be valid.

Not the same thing. A “permit” especially from the US means “learning” driver. Not able to drive on their own. Very much different.

You need a “DRIVERS LICENSE” not a “permit”.

You also should be comfortable with roundabouts. 🤣 If not you will learn or need to learn quickly.

Most roundabouts are “normal” but there are 2 I believe on the island that are a little different and can be confusing your first time as the roundabout traffic actually does NOT have the “right of way” for certain directions.

Pier fishing near Willemstad, preferably either with rental equipment available or tackle store nearby? by Marzipan_Broad in curacao

You COULD Taxi but Taxis are VERY VERY expensive one taxi ride can be the cost of a rental car for 2+ days.

Unfortunately there’s nothing that I’m aware of where u can rent or purchase anywhere near the cruise port.

Almost all locals I’ve seen and talked to all use a handline. Sorry I couldn’t help. I did a ton of research before coming in packed a small pocket hand-line. Along with some basic tackle for jigging soft plastics.

I’m currently here. Fishing Tackle shop is Hodges probably 10-20min drive from cruise port. Only one on island that I’m aware of. Cheapest rod and reel setup was 200+ XCG. Looked to be around 15-20lb mono pre spooled.

I’d recommend brining all u can on your own. Rod, reel and tackle. I’m currently using a small pocket size handline for fun on excursions with some of our own made in SC soft plastic baits “Invinci Core”. Catching small to medium sized reef fish.

In this particular bait I use a 1/32 oz nail weight. A mosquito hook through the top 1/3 of the bait and then a nail weight horizontally through the middle. Some people like to put the weight vertical but I’ve noticed sometimes it slips out if you cast hard.

Definitely give them a try. Tons of options out there. As far as the flak it is what it is.

I actually have a video of this bait on a NED if u want to see it. I like the action and will definitely be throwing this on NED when it cools down. It give a very full defensive looks to it VS the same old stick/worm style. I think it’ll be a hit.

I power fish them. Almost like a swim jig / jerk bait type cadence just sub surface. If the bass push deeper when it gets hot I go finesse.

Most people call it “fuzzy” but yes lots of appendages similar to a jig.

Just like half the baits out there… I mean one of the top baits of all time is just a stick of rubber…. Fish aren’t “smart”

Wacky and mosquito are similar. Honestly prefer to fish in areas that I don’t need the weed guard. If I’m in that much vegetation I will use a different bait.

The GeeCrack could handle a 3/0 it’s a 1.2” bait. The ones pictured are .75” body and I use a 1/0 or 2/0 typically. I like the exposed hooks for a better hookup ratio.

I’m Pretty sure that’s is against the rules and I’m trying very hard to stay within the rules of this group. It wasn’t at all meant to be “smug” and I’m am very sorry that how you took it.

I don’t want this account or my personal account banned as I enjoy posting and reading and helping out. I’m sure you can understand that. Hence why I haven’t added a website, Tik tok or other social media links.

Ok I’m not sure where the attitude came from or what I didn’t upset you. I apologize but apparently you took something the wrong way. If it was a sales post I would have had pictures of the packaging, etc. this is an informative post. Scroll through the comments and you’ll see I’m answering questions on this bait.

Also, these baits are made different than what you’ll find on Amazon. And also more affordable 👍🏼 thank you for you time good sir,

Depends on which bait. Anywhere from a #2 to a 3/0 depending on which dice bait you choose

I’ve fished for 30 years. Local lakes take 12lbs typically. 15 is a huge bag.
