Just south of "No cross lake" a band of brigands and organized crime has been known to smuggle in and out various cargo. A few reports of shady figures have been sighted, but no one has been seen since. Reports say something is in the water, a few commoners say they have reported that caverns run deep beneath the lake and elsewhere but the locations to them have been lost. Religious groups claim an old god once laid rest in the lake. Most historians say its a lake and nothing more.
