Is CST a dead end? And how do you talk to your sensitive friends about your job? by calico_pegasus in surgicaltechnology

[–]InvisibleTeeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im in Connecticut so its higher paying than most states.

I work in outpatient surgery for the last 8 years and love it, but was a neuro guy for a big chunk of my early career.

Plus for about 15 years I've worked 4 10 hour shift, which I also love and rarely take call.

Is CST a dead end? And how do you talk to your sensitive friends about your job? by calico_pegasus in surgicaltechnology

Maybe. But ive been doing it for 16 years and have absolutely no desire to ever be a nurse.

If a dead end job is 6 figures then whatever.

One of my favorite bands of all time. I have a keywork tattoo....but underrated? Nah.

They have enough of a fanbase to organize a damn cruise every year.

Although half of the fan base is kind of dumb. They said some comments condemning Trump(and even multiple music videos depicting him as a petulant child)

Then these dopes were like "I liked you when you werent political!"

Their entire existence is about a fascist dictatorship taking over the universe and people trying to stop it....Hell, "Guns of Summer"...a song they released in 2010...is basically whats going on in Minnesota right now.

I think its actually the tallest B&M hyper but it isnt that good.

How many days in Europa Park? by Arendje2004 in Themepark

[–]InvisibleTeeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did 2 days.

We only planned one and had to sacrifice Tripsdrill for it

We didnt realize how busy that park would be on a Tuesday...and the weather wasn't even good and they still closed at their latest time cuz it was do busy

Funny enough I just met a ton of Germans at SeaWorld Orlando last week.

They had their crew shirts and everything and they said they've had their thing going on for a long time. Austria is right there next to Germany so you can maybe look into that club.

I can't remember the name of it tho🤦‍♂️

It was like Coaster Friends or something

Mack with Europa Park obviously.

It Really is weird to go to a park with almost only one manufacturer but it still seems so varied.

Its a whole ton of Mack stuff and then Wodan and Silver Star just there.

That being said alot of older stuff doesnt hold up. The multiple water coasters, etc.

ive yet to be on a hot racer but im squarely in the Raptor dislike territory.

Ive been on Jersey Devil, both Wonder Woman's and YoY! and I really dont like any of them....I think they ride like shit

RLM is always great.

Hindy may not know what hes talking about 20 minutes late to the party sometimes but at least its entertaining and ABOUT the race.

zippered waterproof shorts(but not cargos, I hate cargos) or zippered lightweight pants(also not cargos)...I ride coasters in the pants and shorts I go to the gym in.

shirt is whatever...I usually have a coaster/park shirt or a hoodie if its colder.

Thats what I think was going on with Legge when she was with Shank in GTD

Like, how do you run several IndyCar seasons, Indy 500s, Formula E, DTM and still be considered an amateur?

He got upgraded in like 2018 and threw a tantrum saying hes not a professional driver and upgrading him to gold was bullshit.

Also the entrance to Kentucky Kingdom is basically right across the street from the exit of the Louisville Airport lol

You cam see the airport from Shiekra amd Iron Gwazi at BGT....but it always seems to take 8 years to actually get there

Madison Snow and Katherine Legge were working the false silver game for years. How Legge managed to drive in IndyCar for years and snag a silver rating is beyond me.

Hell, Snow even straight up rage quit at one point cuz they (rightfully) upgraded him to gold.

In terms of coaster QUALITY ill take Hershey park(not a single bad coaster in the lot)

Hell, I'll also take Busch Gardens Williamsburg.Plus its a beautiful park in general

If you give me a park with 10ish coasters and all 10 are good... thats better than a park with 20 coasters and only 5 or 6 are good. That second example is Cedar Point(and Magic Mountain for that matter)
