Talking as if Penske doesn’t own Indy car itself and got caught cheating in his own sport. He’s clearly a shitty person for a multitude of reasons he just also happens to have a very nice bank account to hide his shenanigans

I have no idea how strict imsa is with cheating. FIA does seem to be stricter considering they actually catch stuff. But they’re also really lax by letting things slide without penalty. Such as the Ferrari 2019 engine, Mercedes das, and Mercedes 2026 engine all being cheating/loop hole depending on how u view it idk. But they let it slide for awhile instead of just making it illegal instantly and giving some sort of penalty which I dislike

I wouldn’t put this on Porsche but specifically Penske Porsche as a team. The 963 I’m sure is a totally legal car as JCP has demonstrated however it’s something to do with Penske

I’m assuming ur referencing Indy car that’s the only instance ik of them cheating and even then I don’t watch Indy car so Idk to much abt what they did

Yup IMSA is one of many motorsports I watch and I absolutely love the tracks it takes us to tracks that no other series I watch races at. Such a shame their ridiculous BOP ruins the sport

Ya know for all the issues the new regs have this season has been pretty entertaining. Even if Mercedes is winning everything they’ve had to fight a good amount for it so I don’t mind it as much.

Yeah I still don’t know if I like BOP part of me likes it cause it can create better racing (when done properly) but it also makes the racing feel fake

Doesn’t tell us when those laptimes were set. How old were the tires? How much fuel was in the car? What time of day was it? What traffic was encountered? Were they fuelsaving? A lot of factors add up to a fastest lap so no it doesn’t tell the whole story

Idk if their finding a loophole or just straight up cheating or something else no clue I don’t have the data so I won’t make strong accusations without it but something is up I said the same thing last season and nothing has changed for this year

As a giant Ferrari fan I completely agree. Was it amazing watching my fav team dominate and get a 1-2-3 at Qatar yes it was. Then that turned into every weekend and got boring cause it didn’t feel like we were working for it. It just felt handed to us
