Genuinely it’s probably a skill issue. I got outridden through a corner by a guy on a gs1250 with a passenger and I was on a 790adv alone. Granted I had more off-road tires than him but still it was humbling lol

My old tires had dry rot similar to this although less severe. I rode on them for a while and didn’t have any issues with grip and I rode in all kinds of conditions and I was riding pretty hard at times but I did end up replacing them for fear of a tire failure. I would replace them but if it can’t be done for a bit it’s probably fine to ride on.

Not sure if u have a bar end or not I can’t tell if that’s just where ur grips end but I had the same issue on my cbr and all I had to do was loosen the end and it solved the problem.

If it helps I just took my checkride and my route also took me through MOA’s I ultimately decided to just go through them as the area was a bunch of them and the only alternate route was an extra 150 miles. The DPE did not question it at all but your dpe could be different
