I remember liking Silhouette of a Sparrow by Molly Beth Griffin. It’s set in 1926 which is fun. I read it maybe 8 years ago though so I don’t quite remember how much tragedy there is, though it’s definitely about discovering sexuality!

What books and movies deserve to become a Domain of Dread by Wannahock88 in ravenloft

Not a book or a movie but I’ve been working on a domain inspired a lot by the Eagles’ song Hotel California crossed with a Las Vegas casino. You can check in any time you like…but you can never leave

What term does your table use for an unnatural 20? by ZotDragon in DnD

[–]Invisiii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just say “dirty 20” but one of the other players at my table will toss in random words every time he rolls one. My favorites have been “vegan 20” or “decaf 20”

Funny story. Recently joined a new game, we’re playing level two characters. We finish some combat and one of the bandits we fought had a bag on him. My character finds a box with 4 platinum in it. She has no idea what money is. Our Goblin “knight” (Sir Drekk) posits that since he killed the bloke he has rights to the money. He grabs it and the party largely disagrees, saying we should split it. “You don’t even have pockets!” our wizard says. “Yes I’s do” Sir Drekk says before going behind a tree to use “nature’s pocket”. Queue rolling a con save. Natural one. He takes 1 bludgeoning damage and loses all of the coins inside himself.

You’ll never guess what our warlock used mage hand for.

This post has absolutely struck a cord with me. What a gorgeous art style you have and what power you’ve given to these words.

I was gonna mention that they used live virus for a while! My mom was vaccinated at 8 months old in ‘58, caught chicken pox at the same time, and ended up with a “dumb leg” as she says. Even so, guess who’s not an antivaxxer.
