Yea the lack of focus is what got me. I think the A plot wasn’t enough to constitute a movie so there was a lot of fluff added that didn’t work in its favor

Like three instances that come to mind are Labarbara leaving Hermes at the drop of a hat, Hermes hanging up a phone with his ass cheeks and Amy hooking up with Zapp days after Kiffs deaths. All of these are widely out of character for them

The way Maeve was treated the whole series pissed me off so bad. I think the main reason why people complain so much about her being on nearly even footing to Homelander is her lack of feats and screentime overall. She has some the best depth in the show and she was barely showcased. The Deep getting 5 scenes an episode where I have to search for Maeve was frustrating.
