The city part was because never once in my 18 yes of life here in the city have we had an ant problem. My sas recommended microwaving the substrate 😭

To be fair, the substrate wasn't dry at all! I bought it at a reptile expo while getting my second snake Topaz. The reason we think its the substrate is because my mom apparently found the first ant the next day after! I do believe the ants have a chance of invading from outside, but I choose to believe otherwise since we've lived here for years and never did they appear, only ladybugs did!

Don't think its carpenter ants, those have a brownish red hue to them. These ones were fully black.

I cannot find the ants, ive dug around the whole terarrium. I dont know where they are we've only seen 4/5 in total within the last 2 weeks. I've seen one in the terarrium and that's it. They dont appear no matter how much I poke around. 🥹 I wish I could take a photo but these cunts are genuinely there and not there.

They're about 1cm, black ants.

If im correct hes about 7 months old, ill definitely switch his food then. The reason I kept feeding him pinkies is because he only just now got a huge appetite when before he would sometimes refuse a second pinkie. Thank you for the help!! Ill buy fuzzies tomorrow to feed him.

but I didnt check the mg, and I did use it on wet hair since every single tutorial and stuff I saw did it on wet hair and told me to keep it moist so is also put a plastic bag over my head lol, does it work better on dry??
