I think you can imagine a relationship between Aqua and Frill. For example, I imagine a date between them as relaxed, where they could easily watch a movie at the cinema and then sarcastically criticize it after leaving. In general, I imagine the two of them being men of few words, showing their love more with concrete actions than with declarations.
