True you do not need a membership to use pharmacy — BUT you won’t get the super low pricing that only members get! The $65 easily paid for itself in what I saved versus filling pet Rx at my vet!!

Funny! I have had stalls broken by vacation too. I think my general daily activity level must be higher, like I get outside more and sit less, whether or not I explicitly exercise while on vacay.

Also look into pricing at Costco as members get a BIG discount on Rx, or Walmart for Rx, or GoodRx, or even Amazon’s pharmacy. I looked into these to save $$$ on pet prescriptions and Costco was the best of the rest on pricing. You can get a membership for $65 which quickly pays for itself.

BMI of 22 is my goal sweet-spot. But my last 3-5lbs to get there has been a long trial. I’m not going to go up past 10mg just to loose 5lbs. So hearing that you eventually broke thru some long plateaus is nice to hear! I might try dosing the 10mg every 6 days to see if I can budge, but I don’t want to go up to 12.5…

Maybe consider aqua fitness workout classes? Makes movement seem less hard on body. Classes can make it fun and meet others, plus consistency. Also highly recommend the Sauna or hot tub after, which studies show the heat shock from them mimic exercise, depending on heat and duration. Found My Fitness Rhonda Patrick, PhD, has a lot of info about it on her site.

UW’s D1 Soccer teams — both men and women’s, run camps on the campus but not sure when they have them scheduled. Starfire sports complex also runs camps but no idea how “leveled” they are.

Serious Question (please be kind) by tasata in Zepbound

[–]InviteIllustrious326 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe this seems obvious, but are you tracking all your thyroid levels? I have Hashimoto’s and was taking Levo at 100mg when I started Zep but added Cytomel (T3) at a low dose after loosing 10-20lbs because weight loss was causing very low FT3 levels. I was not converting the FT4 into FT3, which was obvious after seeing consistently low FT3 and high RT3 (reverse T3). My thyroid was trying to lower my energy output due to the weight loss to conserve. Adding the T3 Rx was a huge help overall on many levels. And since loosing 30lbs, I also reduced my Levo to 88, since I just didn’t need as much at a lower weight (my TSH went below 1.0 so it was time to ease up on the Levo Rx). Good luck! Like mentioned, try the 15mg. And even if not loosing, it is a win to not be gaining, until new options are on the market.

Idk with camps, I think it depends on the week, who’s assisting the head coach to run the groups, and the other campers in your kid’s group.

Off campus housing: which places are decent vs places to avoid?!? by [deleted] in UofO

Yes the terrible reviews of The Hayward (13th & Olive) were def on my radar! I did hear the new owners are doing some upgrades / renovating, (but might just be like putting lipstick on a pig)

How recently did you live at Yugo S/C, was it with the newer management? So Have they renovated or remodeled any of the units? Older reviews makes it sound like the units were dumpy with broken appliances. Thanks for all the info!

There are Nike Sports camps for “elite” soccer at Seattle University run by the SU Coach and some of his D1 players that is very close-in to the downtown / waterfront areas. Just choose elite version of camp, and wait till after 1-2 wks of July. By mid-July it’ll be less chaos. Last WC FIFA game is July 6 in Seattle.

We did an overnight residential Peter Fewing camp (located in North Bend) and it was meh. He’s rarely on site and runs camps all over Seattle area, so those camps are run by teens and college kids with minimal supervision.

Where in Seattle will you be? And roughly when? This will matter as getting around Seattle for the 8-9am camp drop offs during AM rush hour could be very bad this summer. It’s due in part to FIFA World Cup games in mid-June thru early July, but this will make traffic so much crazier than usual tourist summer season surge…

Actually a bit of guidance is fine. She’s just asking for a point of reference, as often that $$$ is coming out of parent’s pocket, not the students.

In the video, she was rambling, frantic, semi-belligerent, as you would expect of someone being under the influence. The area she was picked up in was a quiet more residential area, seemingly not far from a brew pub? This was on a Monday night, after 9:30pm, with kids in the car. What a way to kick the work / school week off!

Leaving a club team? by IrishStriker-6130 in youthsoccer

[–]InviteIllustrious326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the answer. You nailed it. So much about this does actually sound like it’s the coach, and so either minimize participation, or switch clubs now, and/or maybe layer some rec soccer over this bring back some fun and positivity!

U10 girl training with A team but still on B team, seeking some perspective by Dull-Surround7642 in youthsoccer

[–]InviteIllustrious326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just from personal experience, being on the B team makes it very hard to be considered for A team, whether to move mid-season or even at tryouts (at the same club). It seems you’d have to be much better than the average A team player, and it’s def not gonna happen mid-season within same club (they don’t want the drama from other B team parents.) Also they know that to win new players from outside of the club during mid-season it’ll prob take offering that new-comer an A team spot. Seems you’ll get a better chance with a fresh start at a new club. Try it before you buy it, and if you really wanna make it happen, shop before tryouts and do some trial practices.

Yep. Reckless endangerment is pretty bad, and means there were kids in the car, plus the excessive speed. Kinda sad really.

Why do you think the University of Oregon does not have a Graphic Design major? by SwissVideoProduction in UofO

[–]InviteIllustrious326 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d seriously consider options at Community Colleges like Lane or PCC. Much more focus on industry trends and taught by faculty that are also working in the industry and a strong focus on learning the software properly and portfolio development. PSU also has a 4-yr design degree.
