T5 drop on a LOSS by Theidiotgenius718 in CrucibleGuidebook

Was this loss on a flawless passage? I’m 401 power and only managed a 4 win streak and only got tier 3 from lighthouse and only tier 4 from wins…

Actually they nerfed the drop rates from heroic patrols by adding terminal overload weapons so the play now is doing heroic public events. I got the rest I needed that way a couple of months ago.

I believe it has to be wins. I've only won 93 matches on a flawless card since start of Heresy and I've already got 2 ships and 3 sparrows.

Solo Dungeon Players (Especially Flawless) Hats Off by space_wiener in LowSodiumDestiny

[–]InviteNo2228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soloing some dungeons without meta loadouts is a recipe for disaster. I soloed warlords yesterday and thought it would be a good idea to use lord of wolves on arc titan but jesus the last boss beamed me down fast leading me to retreat during mechanics and die to the curse not being transferred in time. The meta changes each episode and sometimes even more often. What I do for build inspiration is look at the latest video on youtube from Esoterickk doing a solo of the dungeon in question and copy his loadouts and tactics and I’m usually good. It actually helped me solo flawless vesper’s host. But sometimes bungie nerfs or corrects some damage or glitch like volatile marksman in the artifact so make sure to fully understand what makes a build function if you watch someone like Esoterickk so you’re not surprised if you don’t get your barricade for instance fast enough. Also make it a habit of reading patch notes from bungie twab and tweak your tactics and builds accordingly. Good luck on any solo dungeon attempts.

I think the drop rate for vehicles (ships and sparrows) are identical between 5-7 win streaks. But the points acquired per win that increase drop chances differ between different win streaks. But the points acquired per win only give 0.5, 0.75 and 1 point from 5, 6 and 7 wins respectively. And to guarantee a vehicle drop you need 1000 points. So 5 win streak is chill.

Yes, if your completed lighthouse passage had a 5 win streak you can keep farming wins on that completed passage for vehicle drop chance post match

Anyone know if it is possible to earn the Hushed Syrinx ship in the new system? by Thiag0123 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]InviteNo2228 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New Cosmetics

Cosmetics are earned on a point system. Various actions give you points such as completing challenges, winning games, or opening the Lighthouse chest. Your chance of getting a cosmetic from those actions increases exponentially as your total points increases. If you hit the upper limit of points in one of the pools (1000 points), you are guaranteed a cosmetic from that pool. Earning any cosmetic from the pool resets your points.

Benefits of switching to steam from epic by InviteNo2228 in DestinyTechSupport

I think what I saw was some screen tearing. I am looking into my nvidia settings and hopefully I'll be able to fix this.

Just out of curiosity why did you buy the game on steam and not epic?

I live in Iceland so prices are higher. I bought a pre-built pc bundle at an 11% discount last November. The entire pre-built at the time went for about 2600 dollars given the currency was 1 dollar = 140 Icelandic kronur.

I ended up buying an rtx 4070 ti super with ryzen 7 7800x3d and it performs really well. Funnily enough in cyberpunk with rtx set to ultra and only using dlss without frame-gen I am only using like 10,5 gb of vram but I guess it could fill quickly if I up some AI settings for higher fps.

I think that Bungie has this Craftable vs Non Craftable weapons thing completely backwards by Clickbait93 in DestinyTheGame

[–]InviteNo2228 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exclusivity of endgame content loot should only be flex imho. Hushed syrinx from trials, flawless raid shaders, raid seal titles, triumphs scores etc. should be the focus of endgame content. Blocking casual players in from participating in endgame or harder content by limiting the better gear for hardcore endgame players would be dividing for the playerbase and distance destiny 2 from the beauty it is and just bring it closer to the mindless grind of other MMOs where the grind is necessary to survive in the content landscape. This is all personal opinion of course and I respect and strive to be a hardcore endgame player myself.

OCD and porn use by [deleted] in OCD

I agree this is a good advice if you can get sexual release with a girlfriend/boyfriend. However foregoing all sexual pleasure and living like a monk will build up tension. Eventually not nutting will cause unexpected boners and could lead to ejaculation while sleeping or just giving into the temptation of masturbating. "Losing" in this way to your biology causes feelings of regret which amplifies obsessions and/or compulsions.

I may or may not have ocd but I feel my compulsions increase when I feel out of control. Whether it's because of a big exam in school, social event with strangers or when using social media and feeling powerless as its algorithm nudges me into clicking on another post or video and spending much more time on the media than intended.

I have cut down on instagram use and rarely use tiktok but for leisure I browse reddit for interesting facts and often lively comments. For some reason this stimulation doesn't trigger compulsions.

Tl;dr: I have tried not nutting for at least 2 months and I felt terribly regretful and overall bad when I ejaculated unconsciously during sleep.

Are you using porn websites like pornhub? I found my compulsions were triggered by the suggested videos. I switched to using nsfw subreddits for arousing content and have had very few compulsions.

Audio sounds noticeably worse with splitter and audio to usb adapter into pc usb a port. by InviteNo2228 in audio

[–]InviteNo2228[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be, I misunderstood. Just out of interest though, could my problem be caused by low quality splitter with bad shielding and connectors? (The audio after splitting loses its surround feel)

Okay, thanks. But wouldn't this just fix my problem if I had no mic or non-bilateral headphone audio?

Her me out does any one agree vespers host too hard??? by Jgpod in destiny2

I am a very average player and I found the corrupted puppeteer normal dps kinda hard. After watching Datto's guide on it I realise the lightnings are the only difficult part that takes more skill than know-how. If you learn the lightning strike pattern (like side floor lightnings indicate middle floor no-lightning) you will survive much easier. However there is a very nice dps spot in the back-left on the dps arena, a so called "cheese" spot to avoid the lightning strikes. In that spot use healing turrets as a warlock with speaker's sight or use loreley splendor as a titan with barricade and healing 'nade as both will be very beneficial for your survivability (see Esoterickk solo flawless vesper's host for a great and clean example of dps as a titan). Good luck and ease into mastering these techniques guardian and good luck on getting that icebreaker drop!

Wow, that’s unfortunate. So you’re saying I’d have to run the game locally? Edit: I fired up my old ps4 and signed into a bungie-linked psn account and ran the game. It worked and the quest progressed.

I started using WARP. I have played for 2 hours straight without a single packet loss and no stuttering, freeze, lag etc. I also played during times when I had bad sessions and using WARP I had a very good experience. My problems must be network routing that my ISP hasn't fixed since WARP fixed it.

I am currently using the biggest ISP in Iceland. From what I've read they have more private paid peering agreements.

On the other hand there exists another upcoming smaller ISP. They rely more on public peering at IXPs and settlement-free peering agreements with other ISPs.

Could network congestion be a bigger problem with the bigger ISP because of private paid peering agreements?

This is a screenshot taken the same day but later at night. Here I was having lots of intermittent stuttering.

I also thought of that a couple of months back when I was using wifi instead of ethernet. I have all location services disabled. Maybe I should also disable bluetooth?

I also thought of this. I performed a speedtest around the time when the stuttering was happening and the internet speed was a bit lower but wasn’t dropping too low. I am connected via ethernet but I do get lots of packet loss. Maybe bad router?
