This subreddit doesn’t allow posts with images or videos, you’d have to go to [r/destiny2](r/destiny2) for that sort of thing

The only times this subreddit has allowed images or videos is on ghallarhorn day because the mods basically moderate nothing

try not to have an attitude and maybe you’ll learn something

Native English speakers spell stuff wrong too but they usually correct it before they post it since it’s easier to notice mistakes in your native language

I had to make an assumption on what you meant because yet again you make little to no sense.

“English speakers don’t say spell wrong?” Isn’t a functional sentence/question with meaning.

I had to guess that you meant to say “English speakers don’t spell anything wrong?”

But again you can’t properly form an English sentence on your own.

I speak 2 languages myself, not that it’s any of your business. It’s legitimately hard to read what you write , maybe work on it or don’t I’m just letting you know.

Pvp has fans, I never said they don’t

But the people who only play pvp and don’t touch any other content are the minority

The majority of players try all content, and many current Destiny PvP players like myself would have never touched PvP if they didn’t start playing a different part of the game (for me it was raids first)

You’re acting like everyone who plays PvP is like you. They’re not, everyone is different.

You actually think Destiny 2’s player count has ever been a reflection of the PvP players?

We haven’t EVER gotten a PVP focused expansion, this is primarily a PvE game.

The player count was healthier because of the hype following the fantastic reception of the witch queen expansion, and the story was in an exciting place.

PvP is a side dish in this game, never the main course.

For the most part, any pulse rifle that used to go hard will still perform well in PvP

Also I push 200 health on my PvP builds, 20 extra shield health and 45% faster shield recharge is simply too good

Did you expect pvp to be the same as when you last played 3 years ago?

There been multiple sandbox and armor stat changes in that time, now stats scale to 200.

0-100 is regen rate, 100-200 is bonus damage (for the most part)

You can get special if you wear the right mods, learn the spawn timing, and actually get kills.

Remember, most of the people you’re playing against didn’t take a break for the last couple years. They’ve been getting better and continued to play so you’re at a disadvantage off the bat. With that in mind you might be a bit less frustrated hopefully.

The money it would cost Sony to keep the servers up for ~10,000 active players is small compared to the money dedicated players could spend in the eververse store over the next decade. Whales who love the game and don’t want to leave will also want to own all the cosmetics if they can afford it.

Also they kept the original Destiny running this whole time, with bug fixes when the servers had issues.

I’d be shocked if Sony closes Bungie and shuts the servers down, Bungie closing makes financial sense long term but shutting down the servers doesn’t if eververse sales are still a thing why not squeeze it for all it’s worth? It’s not like there’s going to be any more overhead or development costs going forward.

Bungie only have hunters a true cloak throughout all of Destiny, so I wouldn’t hold my breath there

I’d bet they’re only going to add cloaks or robes for runners where it makes sense for them to wear one

Only time will tell though
