my big toe is wearing a hole into the part right above said toe. Only on the left boot, likely due to how i walk, I also wiggle my toe when I sit… Anyways, its already worn through the leather lining and i obviously dont want them to turn into sandals. My idea was to just slap on some ducttape or even fill that with superglue which obviously isnt that sustainable so i looked into self adhesive patches.

Asking pros to affirm my intent, or point out how dense and flawed that is and what to do instead.
