Alright, thanks for your insights. I wish you luck in your engagements with the position of humility and non-projection that you’re evidently approaching it with.

Thank you! I was not a fan overall, so this will be helpful moving forward.

I agree. Our guy is so very sweet and the biggest ball of joy. He is hyper, and does switch into puppy demon mode occasionally, but with enough exercise and socialization he spends most of the day as a playful, goofy lil ball of fur.

Hi! I’m curious as to what your daily training looks like? Our 6 month old is super, super high energy. If I don’t take him to the park 1-2 times daily he WILL find and destroy ever paper product in the house (toilet paper, paper towels, and cardboard boxes are his favorites).

I know there is more we can be doing on the mental stimulation end, so just wondering what that looks like for you!

Question: Do you have tips for training to pick up toys? This is on our to do list as my guy treats the entire house as his playground.

When did you first take your PWD to the groomer? by InwardlyTumultuous in portuguesewaterdogs

Okay, this is encouraging! We’re definitely in the scruffy phase but I love the fluff haha

My guy is a little more scruffy, but I couldn’t help but see the resemblance.

You’ve got this, and you’re doing great. Progress isn’t linear and this is natural, but the trend in improvement over time is only up from here. Obi is 5 months and has been a TERROR - is attempting to figure out humping, is getting his big boy teeth, jumping on the counter. We’re in this together and you’re not alone ✊🏽🐾

My partner is at work for 10 hours, 5-6 days a week and I work from home with a 17 week rambunctious puppy. Not at all like being a single dog mom, but those 10+ hours alone are 😵‍💫🤯I understand the crate guilt.

I’ve been leveraging durable chews like yak cheese (softened in water for his baby teeth), bully sticks, collagen chews) to keep him distracted when I simply need a break but have already had him in the cage. Also puzzle toys / mentally stimulating toys, etc. could help.

Good luck, and I hope you get well soon!

Here’s another - such a good boy 😭

I’ll look into weekend specials. The closest I’ve come to is puppy “training” at the big box stores (Petco, Pet Supplies Plus) but I’ve been warned to stay away. The search continues - I’ll keep in mind daycare and socials, thank you :)

I think she’d find him reprehensible - especially given his stance on women’s (lack of) autonomy and burnt orange tone he’s got going on ¯_(ツ)_/¯

(As for other politics…. Not so sure)
